The British Medical Association will be holding an important webinar to help KCL Medical Students prepare for life as a doctor. We understand that these last few weeks before starting life as a doctor can be a daunting time so to settle some of your fears we have prepared this crucial talk. If you’re already familiar with the Junior Doctor Contract of 2016 there’s no need to attend however if you don’t know the contract then it’s essential that you come along.

Our free webinar will go through loads of vital information you need to know before beginning your Fy1 year including:
💷Pay- How to know you are being paid the correct amount for the work you do

💥Industrial Action- How the ongoing pay dispute will affect you and what to do if we call more strikes

📑Contracts- Understanding the terms and conditions you are working to

We know that understanding your pay, contract plus terms and conditions can seem a bit confusing but do not worry! After attending the webinar you will have all the knowledge you need to begin Fy1.

This will also give you an opportunity to ask one of our expert employment advisors any questions you may have.

(2) Debate and discuss issues that are important to you
(3) Meet like-minded individuals

It's your chance to influence BMA policy on topics ranging from widening participation, decolonising the medical school curriculum and improving sustainability in the NHS.
