Our children remind us every day that joy can be found in the smallest of moments, a shared laugh with a carer, a piece of glitter-covered artwork proudly displayed, or the comfort of holding a favourite toy. These are the moments that shine brightest, even in the toughest times 🌟

For many of the children we support, every day is filled with unique challenges. Yet, within the walls of Richard House, they find space to play, laugh, and simply be children, surrounded by warmth, creativity, and love.

From splashing paint in art sessions to playing music, storytelling, and exploring our sensory spaces, creativity is at the heart of what we do. Every activity offers a moment of freedom, fun, and expression, no matter a child’s ability or needs.

For many of our children, these moments of creativity are more than play, they’re a way to connect, to express themselves, and to experience the world in new and joyful ways!

Each runner has a fundraising target of £250, helping us provide vital care and support for children with life-limiting conditions and their families 💙

Join us for a Charity Quiz Night in support of Richard House! 🧠

Put your knowledge to the test and enjoy a fun-filled evening at The Galyons, Royal Docks, on Tuesday 18th November, with the quiz kicking off at 7:30pm!

There’ll be a raffle with great prizes up for grabs, and we’re delighted to be joined by some of the Chelsea Pensioners, who have kindly donated special prizes from the Chelsea Hospital ❤️

💷 £2 per person / max 6 per team

🚗 Free parking available

All proceeds will go towards Richard House Children’s Hospice, helping us continue providing vital care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

Another fantastic Richard House Cup! ⚽🏆

Recently, we hosted our latest tournament at Powerleague Battersea, bringing together six brilliant teams for a day of competition and community spirit.

A huge congratulations to Credit Agricole, who were crowned champions after going head-to-head with teams from TV Edwards Solicitors LLP, Commerzbank, Peel Hunt, and CLS 👏

Every kick, goal, and save made a difference – with all the money raised going towards supporting children with life-limiting conditions and their families in our community 💙

Thank you to everyone who played, cheered, and supported, you’re helping us create moments of joy and care that truly matter.

A Huge Thank You to Our Incredible Supporters! 🏡

We’re so grateful to the amazing team at Alltype Group Ltd, who recently refurbished one of our family flats here at Richard House. They went above and beyond, completing an incredible transformation, providing extra materials, and getting everything done so quickly! 💪

We’d also like to give a special shoutout to everyone who helped make this project possible:

💫 Howdens Dartford – for donating a new microwave and upgrading the kitchen units free of charge.
💫 Ritcher Air Ltd and their supplier Greenmill – for donating an air conditioning system and discounting the rest. (We’d love for you to share this too!)
