Can an at-home fertility test really tell you how fertile you are? 🤔

Supermarket AMH tests promise quick answers, but fertility experts say they often oversimplify a complex picture.

Invited by to share his insights, Medical Director, Professor Nick Macklon highlights that while AMH testing can help understand egg reserve, it doesn’t reveal other causes of fertility issues like endometriosis, blocked fallopian tubes, or PCOS.

The takeaway: AMH can be useful, but it’s not a full fertility picture. Always discuss your results with a qualified specialist.

This Fertility Awareness Week, we’re celebrating 40 years of familymaking! And the incredible journey of IVF that’s helped so many dreams of parenthood come true.

From the groundbreaking work of Professor Bob Edwards, whose pioneering research made IVF possible, to the legacy of care built at London Women’s Clinic, our story has always been about one thing: creating families. 💕

Since 1985, we’ve been proud to stand at the forefront of fertility care, supporting, empowering, and celebrating every kind of family along the way.

Here’s to 40 years of love, science, and hope, and to every family we’ve helped create. 🌈

As King Charles unveiled the UK’s first national memorial honouring military LGBT people once excluded from serving openly, it served as a powerful reminder of resilience, progress, and the right to belong.

At the ceremony, Brigadier Clare Phillips reflected that the memorial is about “being able to say to our veterans, ‘You belong, and you always did.’”

Those words capture something that extends far beyond this moment, a universal truth about visibility, acceptance, and belonging.

At London Women’s Clinic, that belief lies at the heart of everything we do. For over 40 years, we’ve worked tirelessly to make fertility care truly inclusive and empowering for every kind of family, from same-sex couples, solo parents and to those who’ve faced barriers in their journey to parenthood.

Because belonging should never have to be earned, and every family deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated. 🌈
