Rachel Murrill, Specialist Paediatric OT is asking the important questions in paediatrics! And at GripAble we love that our gamified training activities provide the serious fun that helps kids access more opportunities with their training. GripAble - for serious, fun rehab

“We all know how hard it is to keep exercising; imagine having to exercise every single day after suffering a life shattering event like a stroke. Performing hours of the same repetitive movements every day, just to be able to hold a glass of water again.” Dr Paul Rinne, Co-founder and CEO, GripAble.

Science shows that the more repetition and strength training a person performs, the greater their chance of restoring movement, and ultimately their independence. Physical rehabilitation is critical for patients to restore quality of life after stroke and many other neurological, orthopaedic and paediatric conditions.

GripAble is a smart two in one mobile assessment and training device for hand, wrist and arm rehabilitation that allows for training and tracking of such repetition training. GripAble is designed for stroke survivors and people living with arthritis, cerebral palsy, or trauma, who are undergoing hand, wrist and arm rehabilitation to improve movement and grip strength.

GripAble is handheld and connects to a mobile app to play clinical-based activity on its therapy platform to train core hand movements in a fun and engaging way, while for therapists, being a measurable, trackable, assessment tool via a person-to-person social network and remote data monitoring software.
