The “Genomadix Cube” point of care test can easily fit in any department, ward, office or cath lab offering the possibility of analysing and producing a report showing whether or not a patient can metabolise Clopidogrel (Plavix), an antiplatelet medication given to heart attack and stroke patients.
A lab based test can take much longer from a day to much longer depending on resources.
Results are within 1 hour, so ideal for TIA clinics, pre-op assessments for elective stent procedures or even acute stenting. A simple cheek swab and hour later the result.

Selamedical UK Ltd, a well-established distributor of medical devices to the UK and Ireland, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Surgical Area Sales Manager to join the team in the UK.

As one of our Surgical Area Sales Managers your primary focus will be to gain access to hospitals, private clinics and win new clients. Some of the products are technical, so you’ll need to be comfortable in your ability to master them.

Requirements:

Relevant medical device sales experience in the surgical field ideally, hernia mesh fixation.
Great interpersonal skills
Ability to quickly build rapport that leads to long term relationships
Comfortable with technical products
Excellent communicator

The rewards are extensive both financially and developmentally. In terms of bonus, the structure is such that you will earn commission on all sales from new customers and it is uncapped. Your development and career progression will be limited only by your success.
