20H CET: Threads That Connect
Yin Yoga & Meridians with Norman Blair & Maitripushpa Bois
🗓 12–14 February 2026 | Indaba Yoga Studio
💫 Last few Early Bird spaces
Yin invites us to slow down, soften and pay attention, to the quieter stories the body holds, to the subtle currents beneath the surface, and to the places within us that respond to stillness.
Across this three-day training, Norman Blair and Maitripushpa Bois will guide you through a deep exploration of the 12 Meridian channels: their pathways, emotional qualities, and how Yin postures influence and nourish these threads of connection within the body.
Expect spacious practice, thoughtful discussion, partner work and embodied learning.
Expect to understand Yin not just as long-held postures, but as a listening practice: a way of meeting yourself with clarity, curiosity and compassion.
This training is ideal for teachers of all lineages, graduates of the 40-hour Yin Training, and experienced practitioners wanting to enrich their understanding of Yin’s energetic and anatomical foundations.
Studying with Norman and Maitripushpa is a rare opportunity, their decades of experience, steadiness and depth create a learning environment that is both grounding and transformative.
Want to experience Norman’s teaching sooner?
He’ll be with us for two beautiful Yin workshops:

• Exploring Space — Sun 14 Dec
• New Year Yin — Thu 1 Jan

🌿 Friday 28 November
Healing from the Core and Connecting to the Roots
💪 Saturday 29 November
Heal Your Back with Backbends and Arm Balancing: The Dance of Strength and Grace
(Saturday access includes both sessions.)
☁️ Sunday 30 November

Each day offers a complete, powerful experience in its own right, held within the Forrest tradition.

Our beloved will soon be taking a short trip home to Japan to visit her family- her first in many years 🇯🇵

For so many of us, Emi’s Dharma classes have become a source of inspiration and light. Her teaching blends strength and compassion, discipline and joy. Each class leaves you feeling both grounded and expanded, a reflection of her deep practice and radiant spirit.

Before she leaves, join us for her final few classes this weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and share in the energy she brings so beautifully to the room.
While Emi is away from 17–25 November, her Dharma classes will be lovingly guided by two remarkable teachers and friends of Indaba:

✨ - Ambra Vallo, returning for seven weeks with a series of uplifting sessions
✨ - Alix Inness, sharing her calm strength through Dharma and Power Hour classes.

Your Dharma journey continues, supported by this wonderful teaching family.

Emi returns on Friday 28 November - rested, inspired and ready to share again.

More details coming soon... but if you’ve been missing that post-practice glow (and the excuse to roll out your mat somewhere cosy), we’ve got you covered.

Guided by Leila Kamali, this class is both grounding and uplifting — known for her nurturing presence, expert assists, and a teaching style rooted in compassion, community and awareness.

Forrest Yoga is a powerful, soulful approach created by Ana Forrest, pioneer in yoga and emotional healing, and developed throughout the years together with co-director and Musical Shaman Jose Calarco.

It is designed to help you reconnect with your body, your breath and your emotional truth.

A practice for anyone seeking a deeper connection.
To breathe deeply.
To release what’s held.
To come home to the body, not escape from it.

With intelligent sequencing, long-held poses and deep core work, Forrest Yoga helps to ease the stresses we carry — back and shoulder tension, fatigue, emotional strain. It’s intense yet accessible, strong yet profoundly healing. 🌿

Our Story

Indaba believes passionately in the positive benefits of yoga and the great things that can happen when you feel good.

The word Indaba is an ancient African term for “gathering”, and this idea lies at the heart of Indaba - to bring people together, provide the opportunity to step away from daily life, and take the time to reconnect both with ourselves and with the world around us.

In 2011 we opened the doors to our beautiful space, to bring a more welcoming, positive and non-judgemental attitude to yoga, respecting the ancient traditions but also embracing new styles where appropriate. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of teaching, space and facilities, we aim to provide fun, uplifting, energising and challenging experiences in which anyone, beginner or expert, can share.
