Another lovely example of the marionette/pre jowl treatment. ⁣
⁣
As I've mentioned before, it doesn't always translate well into photos, but it's such an incredibly subtle and rejuvenating treatment. ⁣
⁣
The combination of volume loss and rising tension of the DAO muscle (depressor anguli oris) can create a slight shadow or downwards vector around the corners of the mouth, making us look older and more strained. ⁣
⁣
Subtle restoration of the volume, combined with some support underneath the DAO muscle makes for a more lifted, relaxed look, and better light reflection around the mouth 😊⁣

The first InclinEyes™ of summer 2022! 🤩⁣

InclinEyes™ is a treatment using different types of carefully placed filler in the upper eyelid, brow, and anterior temporal area to improve the shape of the eye (to make it more almond shaped) and reposition the tail of the brow to make the eyes appear more open, as shown in this patient! ⁣

I designed the treatment during lockdown as my response to the risky, overpromising and unnatural looking fox-eye trend. ⁣
⁣
With this filler-only treatment, you can achieve a nice swooping look of the eye and eyebrow without the use of dangerous or dissapointing threads or machines. ⁣

Marionette line/ perioral reshaping⁣
⁣
Although it doesn't always make for dramatic before and after photos, rebalancing the light reflection on the lower face around the lips and chin makes such an incredible difference in real life, especially when patients are talking or smiling! ⁣
⁣
For this patient, I used a blunt tipped cannula with just one entry point either side of the chin, to distribute some filler in the slightly hollow area underneath the lips, under the muscle that pulls the corners down (the depressor anguli oris). Next I added tiny aliquots of filler right underneath the corner of the mout, to soften the downward shadow and create more of a gentle, lifted appearance. ⁣
⁣
The aim of this treatment is to improve the light reflection between the chin and the jawline, creating more of a continuous plane. This makes the lower face look lifted, and less strained or stern-looking.⁣

This lovely InclinEyes™ treatment from last weekend perfectly illustrates how a bit of carefully placed filler can make tired, droopy eyes look refreshed and opened 😁⁣

Undetectable tear trough treatment 💉⁣

This lovely patient came to see me last week, she felt like she always looked tired no matter how much she slept. ⁣
⁣
It was extremely important to her that whatever I do, she should look like she's never had anything done. ⁣
⁣
Luckily she came to the right place for that 😉 natural, undetectable results is something I pride myself in. A big part of this is knowing the anatomy and understanding the products you work with, (beyond what the manufacturers tell you about them), and understanding the natural anatomy, as well as the limitations of filler treatments. ⁣
⁣
We ended up using one syringe of tear trough filler, injected with a cannula, to soften her cheek-eyelid junction and improve her dark circles. ⁣

Have a look at this perfectly natural looking end result, she looks refreshed, but not at all injected 😉⁣
