Thank you all for a huge 2025.

We expanded in so many ways, I was going to put together all of our stats and share them on here — how many clients we saw, appointments we conducted, DUTCH hormone and microbiome tests we ordered etc but alas time has escaped me.

Gratitude to all who trust us with their health and allow us into their worlds to guide them on their journeys. It is an enormous privilege and not something taken lightly.

Hannah is back in clinic on the 8th & Bridget on the 12th.

Sending peace to all for a happy and healthy 2026 🕊️

MOTHER DOSE by .lab.co //

A new Australian prenatal multivitamin formulated by doctors and naturopaths.

Mother Dose is an evidence based formula for fertility, pregnancy and post partum. TGA approved, it has the highest dose of choline on the Australian market, which is so important for foetal brain development.

My favourite thing about Land Lab is their commitment to improving access to maternal nutrition. Research tells us that 1 in 4 pregnant Australian women can’t afford prenatal vitamins. Nutrient deficiencies in pregnancy are linked with preterm birth, low birth weight, reduced foetal IQ and long term health concerns for both mother and child.

Australian pregnant women with a government issued concession card can get 10 months of Mother Dose for FREE.

Talk about using profit for purpose!

DUTCH Hormone Testing Part II: the HOW

In Part 1 we covered why I use the DUTCH test in clinic — especially for clients with:

〰️ Endometriosis or adenomyosis
〰️ PMS, PMDD
〰️ Heavy or painful periods
〰️ Fibroids or polyps
〰️ PCOS, acne, hirsutism, hair loss
〰️ Infertility
〰️ Weight changes
〰️ Fatigue, burnout, chronic stress
〰️ Migraines or headaches
〰️ Personal or family history of breast c@ncer

Now let’s go through how to actually do the DUTCH test at home.

The DUTCH test is a simple dried-urine (and optional saliva) test you complete across one day. In your kit you’ll find the collection cards, instructions, and return envelope.

Here’s the process:
〰️ Collect several urine samples throughout the day (sometimes 5 depending on your cycle or sleep).
〰️ Saturate each filter paper card, lay it flat to dry, and continue with your day.
〰️ The timing matters — it’s how we map your cortisol pattern, so follow the schedule exactly.
〰️ If you’re cycling, test in your luteal phase — 5–7 days after ovulation.
〰️ If you’re not cycling (postpartum, perimenopause, IUD, post-menopause, male DUTCH test), you can test any day.
〰️ Once the cards are dry, pack them up and post them back. Results take 3 weeks.

From these samples we can assess oestrogen, progesterone, androgen metabolism, oestrogen metabolism, cortisol rhythm, and key organic acids — giving us a full picture of your hormonal and adrenal health.

DUTCH hormone testing // the WHY?

〰️ Acne, hirsutism, male pattern hair loss
〰️ Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)
〰️ Weight gain or inability to lose weight
〰️ Unexplained fatigue, burnout, chronic stress, anxiety
〰️ Headaches or migraines
〰️ History or family history of breast c@ncer

DUTCH gives us a break down of
〰️ Oestrogen and its metabolites
〰️ Progesterone
〰️ Androgens such as testosterone, DHT, androstenadiol, DHEA, DHEA-S; and their metabolism
〰️ Cortisol patterning

SCROLLING IS THE NEW JUNK FOOD — AND YOUR BRAIN IS ADDICTED //

We often think our phones help us ‘relax’, but the constant scrolling, skipping and stimulation are doing the opposite — they’re overwhelming the nervous system, dysregulating dopamine, and shrinking our ability to focus.

Signs your brain is struggling with digital overload include:

✽ Skipping videos in seconds — this trains your brain to crave constant novelty, making it harder to focus on real-life conversations, tasks and even rest.

✽ Needing your phone for everything — from the alarm clock to eating, to filling every silent moment. Dependency increases when the brain is overstimulated and searching for its next dopamine hit.

✽ Using your phone around friends and family — or feeling like you’re interrupting (or being interrupted) constantly. This keeps the nervous system in a state of micro-stress, preventing presence and connection.

✽ Never letting your brain be bored — but boredom is essential for creativity, emotional regulation and healthy dopamine cycling.

✽ Eating while on your phone — this disconnects you from your body’s hunger cues, disrupts digestion and keeps your nervous system switched on when it should be resting.

✽ Feeling restless when you put your phone down — a sign of dopamine imbalance and overstimulation, not a lack of willpower.

Small changes can make a big difference:

✽ Turn your phone off for one hour a day
✽ Keep your phone in another room while eating
✽ Bring back a real alarm clock
✽ Create phone-free time when talking with loved ones
✽ Notice when you’re skipping quickly — and pause instead

HOW TO SUPPORT YOUR V@G!NAL MICROBIOME //

Your V microbiome is a delicate ecosystem that plays a vital role in overall health and comfort. When balanced, it protects against infections, supports optimal pH, and maintains natural moisture. When disrupted, it can contribute to irritation, thrush, BV, and even infertility, miscarriage, and pre-term birth.

The good news? Small, consistent changes make a big difference.

Swipe through for simple, evidence-informed ways to support your V health — from choosing natural products and breathable fabrics to understanding what your body truly needs (and what it doesn’t).

Your body is always communicating with you. Supporting your vaginal microbiome is about listening, simplifying, and creating an environment where balance can be restored naturally.

Vaginal microbiome testing is a game changer to identify exactly what is going on — by testing your good bacteria, bad bacteria, yeasts, mollicutes (i.e. mycoplasma, ureaplasma), and pH, which helps us streamline your treatment and get you results, faster.

Save this post for yourself and share it with a friend who might need it. And if you need more comprehensive support, book in for a consultation with one of our expert naturopaths via the link in our bio.

THIS ONE’S FOR THE BOYS 💥

Male fertility has drastically declined over the past few decades — and it’s now responsible for 30% of all infertility cases.

Let’s be clear: s***m health matters just as much as egg health. When it comes to conception, the equation is 50:50. Poor s***m is associated with recurrent miscarriage and even neurological conditions, autism, and adult mental health conditions in offspring.

The good news? Men produce new s***m every 72–76 days.
That means s***m with low count, poor motility, abnormal shape, or even high DNA fragmentation can be turned around — into super s***m — in just a couple of months.

Male fertility has been overlooked for too long. Boys, it’s time to level up your health! Your future children are depending on it.

CLIENT REVIEW //

It’s always so lovely to receive feedback from our clients.

“Bridget has been amazing from the very first time I messaged her, and still is now a year and a half later. She has helped me find out deeper issues I had going on in my body, and because of this I feel so much better both mentally and physically. She has been truly life changing for me, and I couldn’t thank her enough.”

It really makes our day reading these kind of reviews.

CHECK LIST FOR THE WEEK /|

Some easy tips to support your health naturally:

1. Filter your water - this is one of the simplest ways to improve your health.Unfortunately tap water contains many additives such as chlorine, fluoride, microplastics, heavy metals which are contribute to dis-ease. Buy a filter or be a filter!

2. Eat organic - where possible, choose organic foods. Support your local farmers markets!

3. No screen time within the first hour of waking. Looking at blue light from phones and screens within the first hour of waking wreaks havoc on our hormones, blood sugar, brain chemicals (i.e. dopamine) and energy for the rest of the day.

4. Get your steps in (aim for 7000-10,000 daily). Make the most of your lunch break! If you don’t get a lunch break, consider a walking pad for your desk.

5. Carve out time for rest. In a world that is moving a zillion miles an hour, we need to prioritise time for rest. Our nervous system controls all. Proper, deep rest is therapeutic - especially for digestive, hormonal and autoimmune concerns.
