A well experienced Carer , preferably a Car driver who will be required to work and supervise carers in the field .
Conduct spot checks , supervisions .
Assists in completing support plans and Risk assessments .
Answering to all queries in regards to the Care and Support of Carers and their families .
Work closely with the Care Coordinator

Deputise the Registered Manager in her absence in the general running of the Care Agency .

Manage the duty rota. Supervise carers .
Carry out initial assessments of new care packages , meet clients and their families .
Report back to the team if any issues raised.
We have a good training package.
Salary or rate per hour is based on experience and this will be discussed at interview .

If you have experience in community or home care work and are now looking for supervisory and managerial experience, then the Field Care Supervisor role could be what you are looking for.

Field Care Supervisors are responsible for service users and Care Workers within the local community. At Icare we work with Vulnerable adults who have a variety of care needs. You should be experienced in working with older people, mental health, learning disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer’s, physical and physiological disabilities etc....

Field based, as the name implies, you will be liaising with service users and their families directly both at the commencement of the service and for its duration. You will assist the Registered Manager and the Quality Assurance Officer in the responsibility of the quality of work, the supervision and management of Carers.

This will involve:-
*Conducting Assessments/Risk Assesments (Reviews and re-Assesments when required)

*Spot Checks reviewing on a regular basis how services are delivered.

*Monitoring and sustaining service provision and following policy in resolving matters that may arise that can disrupt service.

* Working closely with the Care Manager and Co-ordinator to plan the service effectively (e.g Managing the Rota practicality)

*Team meetings and one-to-one meetings with Care Workers to discuss their progress and training.

*The bridge in communication for the administration of the company (in the office) and the carers on the field.

By maintaining close relationships with both the service user and the Care Workers, the Field Care Supervisor is fundamental to the organisation of a high quality service.
