NEW TEAM! We are so excited to welcome our new physiotherapist, Liz Bayley, to our team at TL Health! Liz will be officially joining us from September 2022 and brings a wealth of experience in the performing arts. You can read all about Liz below:
Liz was a professional dancer for 15 years, performing all over the world, including a year in Paris at ‘The Moulin Rouge’. She then specialized in Latin ballroom and Argentine Tango.
Her years as a dancer sparked her interest in sports injuries and she obtained an Advanced Diploma in sports therapy in 2009. Liz then worked as a sports therapist in the West End on shows such as ‘Wicked’, ‘The Wizard of Oz’, ‘Singing in the Rain’, ‘Shrek’, ‘Matilda’, and ‘Jersey Boys’.
Liz’s first degree is in psychology, and she graduated with a master’s degree in physiotherapy in 2016 from King’s College. She is currently the physio on Disney’s ‘The Lion King’ at the Lyceum Theatre.
Liz has also worked in private sports injury clinics, in falls prevention services, and is a qualified DMA Clinical Pilates instructor. She has written articles on dance injury prevention for 'The Stage' and has been a guest on many different podcasts talking about her work with performers. Her special interests are the foot and ankle, injury prevention, stretching and flexibility, Reformer Pilates, and return-to-sport rehabilitation.
Whilst some of our other therapies aren’t available over August, you can still book in for Physiotherapy with Katy or Colette over the summer period.
Keep you eyes peeled to meet our new physiotherapists who will be joining our growing team in September 👀😁

Trinity Laban is a multi-disciplinary clinic offering a range of treatments, which focuses on injury prevention, management and rehabilitation. All our therapies can treat a variety of complaints from acute problems to more chronic conditions.
Our experienced team of practitioners help clients to understand and manage their own musculoskeletal conditions. Each client receives a tailored one-to-one treatment session to meet their specific needs, and given advice from our practitioner(s), on what the next steps should be once the session is over.
Some of the problems we treat include; sports injuries, stress and anxiety, back pain, digestive problems, migraines, concussion, repetitive and overuse injuries, arthritic pain and stiffness, joint pain, postural problems, muscle soreness and tension.
Our qualified practitioners also specialise in the assessment and treatment of athletes and performing artists, both in training and working professionals, within the on-site treatment clinic at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. Not only do all of our therapists have a particular interest in performing artists’ injuries and injury prevention, but many have had first-hand experience of being a performing artist or have worked with performing artists for many years, gaining vast experience in the field.
Our range of therapies aim to support performing artists using specialist knowledge of the specific demands placed upon the body, and appropriate techniques to prevent or aid in the rehabilitation of an injury. Trinity Laban Health supports performing artists not only in their training development, but in their everyday lives.
Our health treatments are available at a range of times, including evening and weekend appointments.
