As someone diagnosed with AuADHD, I’ve become increasingly aware of how little understanding still exists in our everyday environments — workplaces, restaurants, retail spaces, and public areas. Far too many people remain unaware of the signs of autism or ADHD.
We, as a society, must do better. We need to recognise the patterns, embrace the differences, and truly celebrate the diversity that neurodivergent individuals bring to our communities. Acceptance isn’t just awareness — it’s action.
At FLPMS, we’re not just talking about change — we’re building it. As a Company Director with deep market insights, here’s what we’re quietly preparing for in the coming years:
1. Geopolitical pressures (including ongoing tensions in the Middle East) are likely to drive up insurance premiums, shipping costs, and oil prices. Most personal alarms, GPS, and IoT devices rely on components shipped from China. This could double prices and squeeze smaller innovators — something we’re determined to prevent through smarter, more resilient supply strategies.
2. Agentic AI is set to transform the care sector faster than most realise. Last year we introduced the UK’s first AI monitoring solutions at the Care Show — and it was clear the industry is still focused on “strength in numbers” rather than genuine innovation. The sector, including dementia and neurodivergent support, is not yet ready for what’s coming.
3. We are strategically expanding into a new sector to embed agentic AI and automation deeply into residential living and care solutions over the next 2–3 years. Our goal is simple: deliver the highest quality, personalised care without relying on staff who may not be the right fit — while creating better outcomes for everyone.
We’ve been leading the digital transformation in care since 2016, and I’m confident we will continue to lead the AI-powered shift ahead. If you would like a consultation how you can embed Ai into your Care business, please get in touch.
