At this time of year, our energy is easily overstimulated by fast-paced, constant movement, so it is helpful to choose slower, gentler, more grounding forms of exercise.
Activities like walking, hiking, swimming, biking, yoga, and tai chi are ideal when practiced at a mindful moderate intensity.
Be sure to balance movement with plenty of rest and sleep, allowing your body the time it needs to rest and restore.
