One thing I see time and time again with womenās health journeys is this quiet belief that we should be ābetter by nowā.
Better after treatment.
Better after surgery.
Better after doing all the right things.
But bodies donāt heal to deadlines⦠they heal to safety, nourishment, and time.
Something I often explain to my patients is that deep healing ā especially hormonal and reproductive healing ā happens in layers.
First the body stabilises.
Then it repairs.
Then, slowly, it rebuilds resilience.
This is why quick fixes rarely create lasting change, and why gentle, consistent support through nutrition, supplements, acupuncture, and nervous system regulation can make such a profound difference over time.
Right now, alongside everything else, Iām leaning into gentle, supportive practices that help my body feel cared for rather than pushed ā things like castor oil packs, high-quality liposomal iron and vitamin C, and very gradual strength-building exercises when my body allows (and much to Picklesā disgust, the spare human is currently responsible for all the walkies š¾).
If youāre in a season where progress feels slower than you hoped, please know this:
Your body isnāt failing you. Itās adapting, recalibrating, and doing the best it can with what itās been through.
Healing is rarely quick, rarely neat, and almost never linear ā but that doesnāt mean it isnāt happening š¤
Iām very particular about the supplements I recommend to both my patients and in my own recovery, and I personally choose for their quality and bioavailable liposomal formulations.
