We are back with Kirsty Minnie Riot Reynolds for a wonderfully silly sock puppet workshop where you can joyfully craft and connect with others in a playful space.

Calling makers and shakers for the grand reopening of The Little Launderette! A silly soapy sock puppet workshop where you can joyfully craft and connect with others in a playful space.

Join your crafty cat facilitators for a sock-puppet making workshop where you’ll design and build your very own character using rescued socks, questionable lost property and some classic craft supplies!

You’ll then get a chance to bring to life your new fuzzy friend on the dance floor, take on the challenge of washing line limbo and compete to be the best tea maker in town. Who will make the cut? And who will be left popping bubbles?

All materials will be provided but if you have a favourite odd sock that needs a new purpose in life this is the moment they have been waiting for!!

Discover the joy of playful improv, movement and vocal games in a welcoming space where the emphasis is on spontaneity and connection.

Using simple exercises drawn from improv and comedy training, we explore what happens when you stop overthinking and start responding in the moment. Rachel has this brilliant way of grounding you into presence so you can access the joy of play. She’s super warm and encouraging, helping you get out of the way of yourself and step into the realm of fun.

Every game is an opportunity to build confidence, trust your instincts and connect with others in a light, low-pressure way. Whether you’re brand new to improv or just looking to try something different, this workshop is designed to help you feel more present, expressive and playful.

Rachel Mann (she/her) is a London-based host, creative facilitator and founder of Say It Louder – Open Mic Nights . She creates inclusive spaces where voice, movement and improv spark confidence, curiosity and connection. LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent friendly.

Seamas Carey’s Singing Workshop is a joyous and anarchic collective singing experience for anyone who wants to use their voice without overthinking it. It’s designed for any environment, age, ability or gender. Whether you sing regularly or haven’t sung in years, there’s something for everyone.

leads simple warm-ups, ear-worm rounds and surprising song covers that are easy to pick up and a joy to sing. The focus isn’t on polish or perfection, but on joining in, listening to each other and engaging with song, laughter and silliness.

His collective singing workshops are delivered in an informal, infectious and accessible style that gets the most out of people. His style is energising and uplifting with a mischievous rebel charm. He encourages people to connect with their voices, the other people around them and to take themselves less seriously.

Seamas Carey is an internationally award-winning performer, composer, multi-instrumentalist and choir leader from Cornwall, UK. He spent six years running Cornwall’s first alternative male voice choir (Men Are Singing) and has sung all over the world with his solo work, various theatre companies and The Spooky Men’s Chorale. His work is often humorous, interactive, musical and made in collaboration with communities.

Seamas Carey’s Singing Workshop is for people who want to sing — loudly, imperfectly and together.

Easter has come early with who brought all the hilarious and fun vibes this Tuesday for Journey of Joy Easter Style!

We had rubber chicken racing, kinder egg and spoon and race, dancing and singing. A feast for the soul!

As always, Kata brought all the fun and games. She made us feel exhilerated and elated by the end. Just what you need on a Tuesday evening!

She will be back on Tuesday 9th June for more Journey of Joy shenanigans.

We are very excited to welcome to run an amazing workshop on beatboxing for beginners. Tap into your inner rhythm and learn how to create music using nothing but your voice.

This beginner-friendly workshop introduces the foundations of beatboxing in a fun, supportive and high-energy environment. You’ll learn core sounds, simple patterns and how to build your own beats — no musical experience needed.

Expect live demos, playful challenges and the weird, wild and wonderful sounds that make beatboxing so addictive.

Kimmy Beatbox is one of the UK’s top beatboxers, reaching the semi-finals of the UK Beatbox Championships in 2019 and becoming the first non-male beatboxer to reach that stage in over a decade. Originally from Manchester, Kimmy began busking on the streets, developing their sound by recreating the beats and instruments they loved.

Since moving to London, Kimmy has performed at Glastonbury and Bestival and collaborated with brands including JD Sports, UEFA, Google Pixel, Nokia and Coca-Cola. They also mentor young artists and regularly run workshops for up-and-coming beatbox talent.

Tickets costs from £12 for a one off workshop.
