✨ There’s a secret in the last slide that every parent should know…
Skin to skin is when a newborn is placed directly on a parent’s bare chest, creating warmth, comfort, and a deep sense of safety. While it’s often associated with the first moments after birth, it’s actually a beautiful and powerful practice well beyond those early hours. Skin to skin helps calm your newborn, regulate their breathing and temperature, and strengthens bonding when babies need reassurance and closeness. Sometimes, the simplest moments make the biggest difference 🤍

Have you tried skin to skin beyond the first moments after birth?

2016 vs 2026.
Ten years together (+the other 23❤️).

Back then, dad had just passed away and I left the country. You held me up when everything felt like it was falling apart.

So much has changed since then.
I don’t party anymore. I meditate every day. I listen to my body and I let myself feel my emotions as they come, even when they come strong.

Mom, you’ve been there. And you’ve grown with me.
Just like my curiosity has grown, I see yours growing too. I see it, I’m grateful for it, and I hope we’ll have many more years to stay curious about whatever comes next. 🤍

Love,
Laura

Is your baby’s latch feeling painful right now? 🤍
Breastfeeding doesn’t need to hurt, and sometimes a few small tweaks can make a big difference. The CHINS check can help: keep baby Close, their Head free, body In line (ear–shoulder–hip), Nose to ni**le, and choose a Sustainable position for you both.

If things don’t feel right, where do you get support for your breastfeeding journey?

❄️ It’s so cold outside right now—and it feels like everyone is sick 🤧
With sniffles everywhere, it’s so easy for little ones to catch a cold, and honestly… it breaks my heart every time they struggle to breathe comfortably 💔
This gentle technique can help soothe cold symptoms by freeing the airway from mucus, and it can be used for both younger and older babies to bring them a little relief and a lot of comfort 🤍

Have you tried anything like this before to help your baby when they’re congested?

✨ Happy New Year! ✨
Starting this year feeling incredibly grateful for the amazing community growing around Tips & Bibs 🤍 This review is a reminder of how powerful it is when parents feel supported, listened to, and truly connected.

Community matters — and together we can keep growing a space where parents and babies feel safe, relaxed, and welcomed.

💬 Have you found your community yet? And if you’re based in West London, feel free to get in touch — I’d love to connect with you.

🎁Feedback like this means the world ❤️

Kathleen’s words beautifully reflect what baby massage is all about: giving families a gentle, loving way to communicate with their baby through the power of touch. Touch supports bonding, deepens connection and helps love grow, creating moments that bring parents and babies closer together as a family.

Even when babies are simply being themselves, the shared experience, the group support and the time spent slowing down together make baby massage so special. I’m so grateful to see families enjoying the journey and building confidence along the way ✨

And as your baby grows, that connection continues 💫
I’m excited to be running a 5-week Baby Yoga course starting 28th January at Tips and Bibs, NW10 7GD — a wonderful next step after baby massage, supporting movement, development and playful bonding.

In the newborn christmas trenches 🤍
Those early weeks with a newborn can feel intense, exhausting and emotional. This is where IAIM baby massage becomes so much more than a class, it’s a weekly pause, a chance to slow down, bond with your baby and feel truly supported as a new parent.

My IAIM-accredited baby massage course is designed to gently guide you through those newborn trenches, while creating space to connect with other parents, ask questions and build confidence in those early days.

Forever grateful for feedback like this ✨

And as your baby grows, that connection doesn’t stop 💫
