Feeling heavy and bloated during Ramadan is not normal. It is often a result of how you break and structure your meals.
Large portions at iftar, eating too fast, excess fried foods, sugary drinks, and low fiber intake can leave you uncomfortable, sluggish, and drained instead of energized.
Start your iftar gently, hydrate properly, include fiber and protein, and stop eating when you feel satisfied, not stuffed.
Ramadan should leave you feeling nourished and light, not heavy and uncomfortable.
