Obesity Blocks Vitamin D From Doing Its Job...

When fat mass rises, especially around your abdomen, vitamin D stops behaving like a freely available nutrient and starts acting more like something that gets sidelined. Fat tissue hijacks vitamin D before your liver can activate it, and belly fat makes this worse by disrupting the hormonal signals that control the whole process.

Obesity alters vitamin D handling in ways standard guidance doesn't address. The issue isn't simply how much vitamin D you take or how much sun you get. It's how fat tissue, your liver, and metabolic signals decide whether vitamin D stays active in circulation or gets pulled out of reach. When you or your doctor don’t realize that the following 37 conditions can be due to magnesium deficiency and are treatable with magnesium, you may be prescribed drugs.

Magnesium is necessary to dissolve calcium and keep it soluble in the bloodstream.

Blood Clots
Magnesium does not act like blood-thinning drugs but instead helps prevent blood clots by preventing excess calcium from triggering them and it naturally balances the blood clotting in the blood.

Bowel Disease

Brain Dysfunction

Cholesterol
Magnesium does the same thing as statins. But without the side-effects. It is a natural regulator of cholesterol. And studies are now showing that unhealthy cholesterol levels are a result of a magnesium deficiency. To make matters worse, cholesterol drugs deplete the body of magnesium, therefore creating a worsening cholesterol problem.

Cystitis
Magnesium deficiency causes bladder spasms during an infection. But a spastic bladder can cause urinary frequency at any time.

Depression
Serotonin, which elevates mood, is dependent on magnesium. A magnesium-deficient brain is also more susceptible to allergens and foreign substances, which in some instances can cause symptoms similar to mental illness.

Detoxification
Magnesium is crucial for the removal of toxic substances and heavy metals such as mercury, aluminium, and lead from the body. Magnesium is a cofactor in the production of glutathione and the detoxification systems in the liver.

Diabetes
Magnesium enhances insulin secretion, facilitates carbohydrate metabolism, and allows insulin to transfer glucose into cells. Otherwise, glucose and insulin build up in the blood causing various types of tissue damage.
Tyrosine kinase, the enzyme that allows insulin entry into the cell, is magnesium-dependent. Seven of the ten enzymes needed to metabolize glucose are also magnesium-dependent. You cannot make or secrete insulin without magnesium.

Fatigue
Magnesium-deficient patients commonly experience fatigue because dozens of energy producing systems of the body cannot work properly.

Headaches
The muscle tension and spasm in neck and head muscles can be alleviated with magnesium therapy, which can be both applied locally and taken orally.

Heart Disease
As noted, the heart, specifically the left ventricle, has the highest amount of magnesium in the whole body. Magnesium deficiency is common in people with heart disease, and taking magnesium can reduce that risk.

Hypoglycaemia
Magnesium balances the release of insulin so that inappropriately large amounts don’t cause the blood sugar to drop suddenly. This results in symptoms of low blood sugar.

Indigestion
The “pump” that acidifies the contents of the stomach is dependent on magnesium. Without this, food does not get liquefied and remains solid through the digestive tract. This places extra strain and drains energy from you.

Inflammation
The February 2004 issue of Time warned the public about “The Secret Killer: The Surprising Link between Inflammation and Heart Attacks, Cancer, Alzheimer’s and Other Diseases.” Most drug companies are now embracing inflammation and not cholesterol as the cause of heart disease. They claim they don’t know what’s really causing the inflammation, but that doesn’t stop them from producing drugs to suppress it.
What they don’t acknowledge is that calcium is extremely pro inflammatory and magnesium is very anti-inflammatory. I have grave concerns that researchers are trying to create drugs that cause inflammation.
They need to acknowledge the research of William Weglicki and Terry Phillips, who proved that the inflammation escalates when magnesium is deficient.
The bottom line is that inflammation is triggered by magnesium deficiency and the relative calcium excess.

Insomnia
Magnesium prevents muscle tension that can prevent restful sleep. Also, sleep-regulating melatonin pathway production is disturbed without sufficient magnesium.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Magnesium can be used to treat the pain and spasm of IBS. The more laxative forms of magnesium can also treat IBS-related constipation.

Kidney Disease
Magnesium is needed to dissolve calcium. When calcium is not dissolved, it can turn into kidney stones.

Migraine
Serotonin balance is magnesium-dependent. Deficiency of serotonin can result in migraine headaches and depression.
Blood clots are said to clog up tiny brain blood vessels, leading to migraines. Magnesium prevents calcium from causing excessive blood clotting.

In the 1930s, during his endeavour in search of the secret to health, Dr Weston Price, a highly respected dentist, spent ten years visiting hundreds of cities in fourteen cities on five continents.

DMSO is a remarkably safe chemical that protects cells from otherwise fatal stressors (e.g., freezing, burning, shockwaves, ischemia). Since the heart, brain, and spinal cord are particularly vulnerable to injury, DMSO can produce miraculous results for those conditions.

The usage of DMSO completely transforms the management of strokes (including brain bleeds), heart attacks, and spinal cord injuries. Had the medical establishment not sabotaged DMSO’s adoption, in addition to countless lives being saved, millions could have been protected from a lifetime of disability or paralysis.

If I were stranded on a desert island or knew the world was ending and I could only bring a few therapies with me, one of them, without a doubt, would be DMSO. It treats a wide range of severe illnesses which are often otherwise incurable and frequently fatal or lead to a lifetime of permanent disability. It effectively treats acute injuries and rehabilitates chronic musculoskeletal disorders (e.g., arthritis). Because of this, it’s one of the best “pain medicines” out there and has allowed many to get their lives back. It has a variety of unique properties that open up a completely different dimension to how medicine can be practiced and it's one of the safest medically active substances in existence.

What Is DMSO?
Dimethyl sulfoxide, as the name implies, is comprised of two methyl groups and an oxygen atom bonded to sulfur. This simple chemical and its breakdown products exist in nature (e.g., they can be found in small amounts in milk, tomatoes, tea, coffee, beer clams and cooked corn, while the salty smell of the ocean is, in part, due to microalgae near the surface creating dimethyl sulfoxide—some of which also makes it into the rain).

In the body, DMSO is then oxidized or reduced, with the oxidized form (more commonly known by the name methylsulfonylmethanethe or MSM—a common joint healing supplement) being the primary fate of it, while the reduced form DMS (which naturally exists in trace amounts in the body) is the more notorious metabolite because it is responsible for DMSO’s characteristic “side effect,” a distinctive garlic or clam-like odor (or taste) that is excreted through the mouth and skin which certain individuals have difficulty tolerating (and forcing certain long term DMSO users to creatively arrange their social life). This effect typically lasts a few hours, but in certain cases can last up to 72 hours, and appears to be reflective of the overall health of the body (since as people detox, their DMSO odor decreases).

DMSO will rapidly enter the body (including the brain) regardless of its route of administration (e.g., within 5 minutes after going on the skin it can be found in the blood, and within an hour it can be found in the bones), but simultaneously does not accumulate in the body after prolonged use (and virtually none remains a week after administration).

DMSO has an almost endless amount of uses as it can be applied in almost any manner (e.g., it is frequently applied through the skin—although less is absorbed in this method than the other routes of administration). Almost any drug or substance can be combined with it and administered through the skin (e.g., steroids, NSAIDs, numerous antibiotics or antivirals, glucose, vitamin C, hydrogen peroxide, or chlorine dioxide). In many cases, the effect of those drugs is enhanced, and simultaneously, their toxicity is reduced (although, in some cases, the toxicity increases).

Protect tissue from dying when the blood supply has been cut off.

Prevent heart damage caused by copper dietary deficiency.

Prevent kidney failure caused by toxic mercury exposure.

To treat snakebites in cats and dogs.

Increase the production of ATP in cells, and to produce it when energy production has been compromised.

Protect plants from dehydration and osmotic stress (which has also been shown in many other organisms).

Save the fingers of individuals with severe frostbite that would otherwise require amputation.

Treat a variety of burns (e.g.,superficial burns or partial thickness burn wounds) without being prone to producing infections.
