Because somewhere along the way, women were taught that feeling “okay” is something to earn 😳

A very old story, repackaged. 🫩

A quiet dictatorship around how a woman should spend her time to prove her worth,
rebranded as app pinkification, morning routines, and “self-care” that in 2026 feels suspiciously like homework.

Wellness is a state of good health.
Where pain isn’t normalised.
Where guilt doesn’t hover over every choice.
Where flexibility exists.

It is not turning ourselves into a project —
fuelled by manufactured insecurities and reinforced by society’s superwoman pressure trap.

Because the ÂŁ200 health tracker flashing a 70% recovery score,
the one that might improve with a ÂŁ20 magnesium glycinate before bed,
habit-stacked with a ÂŁ200 LED face light,
isn’t measuring the thoughts we fed ourselves all day.

It isn’t measuring the natural stress on the body during luteal phase.
Or the fight-or-flight we experience sitting at our desk,
having normalised chest breathing as a lifestyle.

Optimisation tools don’t measure context.
And women live in context.

New mindset worth saving:
Wellness isn’t about doing more.
It’s about noticing patterns — and responding with support, not control.

You don’t need to be fixed.
You need space to adapt.

Feeling “okay” isn’t something to earn. 💅🏼

Women aren’t broken, your body doesn't need to be “fixed” but we’ve been taught to audit ourselves constantly.

Wellness was never meant to be a performance system.

It was meant to be a *state of health* that adapts, to context.

The below is your reframed narrative:

✨You don’t need to optimise every fluctuation

✨ Not every low-energy day needs fixing

✨ Context matters more than metrics

✨ Support beats control

The problem isn’t that women aren’t doing enough.

It’s that we’re doing too much *without permission to adapt*.

Wellness doesn’t ask you to become a project.

It asks you to notice your patterns and respond with care.

WOW. This trend gave me a beautiful circle of life.

2016: The year I apparently became obsessed with Ab transformation via HIIT, home circuits, Joe Wicks, protein crisps and carbs on training day.

2016 was my first year back in LDN, my mental health was fragile after 5 years of lacking self belief, support, self loathing, spinal injuries, and PMDD (unlabelled).
I stayed in LDN until I saved enough money to go travelling, or what ended up being a year of living in Oz.
In that time, my friendship group dispersed, I was in a long distance relationship, I picked up random pub work, event work until I landed my first job in central London at Pro Direct's flagship, which was mind-numbingly destroying 😂
To combat it all, morning routines became my mental health saviour once Tigger became a part of the family. I’ve only now realised that’s probably why I’m particular about how I spend my AMs presently.

When I eventually made it to Oz, a new continent provided a build for a new identity, apparently that meant going blonde, rebranding my mental narrative and lived in my self development era, the chimp paradox completed. Travel (legit off road, travel) offered life insight we cannot buy, aside from the ticket to get there that is.

Little did I know 2016 was the beginning and reasoning behind my career and motive to support others in living pain-free and finding empowerment.

Fck am I proud of her.

Make sharing the number on the dumbbell as cute as a Strava screenshot 💅🏼

If building muscle supports long-term health, protects bones sucks up the glucose (helps metabolic health) and improves resilience, then running doesn’t need to be the focus.

Especially if it doesn’t fit your body or your life

The motivation is always real, and so is the crash. 🫩

We don't need fixing. What’s usually missing is what we fall back on and that’s where values matter.

This one is for the weeks when reality hits ###

Your back pain might be a stability problem, you’re not weak.

Learn how to recruit the the glute in your warm ups by repeating this bridge movement in the video, don’t let your hips move, it’s harder than it looks.

Don’t move up and down until you can hold the top bridge position without a shift in your hips 💅🏼

Yes, it’s another thing to think about but it’s either something we let happen to us, or we take back control of something that for so long was made to feel out of our control.

PMS, PMDD, ENDO Symptoms, and irregular cycles reflect our lifestyle choices, and pain no longer needs to be normalised in our world, so rather than being dictated to, we’re going to continue exploring the periodisation method together this year.

The method that shifted chaos into clarity ✨

If you notice changes this month or in February you know why.
