Unpopular opinion. ♨️

Cheap prices attract bargain hunters.

Some people think in their head:
“what’s the cheapest I can get it for?”

Instead of asking
“what’s the best quality for my hair?”

But here’s something interesting…

What does “overpriced” even mean?

It’s a relative concept.

Hair extensions may look similar on the surface,
but the reality is they are all very different.

Different hair quality.
Different craftsmanship.
Different experience behind the work.
Overheads

People often only see the final result.

They don’t see the years of experience,
the precision work,
or the bespoke hair that goes into it.

Story time.

My client had been wearing straight tape extensions for years, but her natural hair is actually wavy.

So every day she had to blow dry and heat style just to make everything match.

Over time that heat caused breakage through the ends, even though her roots are naturally quite thick.

So this time we changed approach.

I chose single donor Mexican hair with a natural wave and hand-tipped each strand so it could be fitted with small microrings.

No pre-bonded factory tips.
Everything made specifically for her hair.

Now she can just wash it, leave it natural, and the extensions move exactly like her own hair.

And honestly… this hair is so thick and bouncy. Total game changer.

My client cancelled her extensions appointment.”

Not because something went wrong.

Because her hair grew enough that she didn’t need them anymore.

Six months ago her hair was very short.

So I installed a full head of K-Tip extensions to bring it to shoulder length and help her grow it out.

Three months later she came back for maintenance —
the blend was already looking softer and more natural.

After six and a half months we removed everything.

And her natural hair had grown so much she decided to keep it without extensions.
