As we countdown to the next expansion of NHS Open Space, we wanted to put a spotlight on one of our sites in the North West region, joining us in June 2022 🤩

Bentham Road Health Centre - Bentham Road, Blackburn, Lancashire, BB2 4QD 📍

Bentham Road Health Centre is based in the Mill Hill area of Blackburn. Bentham Road Health Centre provides general medical services and minor surgical services for people of all ages from a purpose built building 🏥

We will be adding 1 treatment room and 1 examination on site onto our booking platform, available to book from June 2022 🤝

We were delighted to welcome Southport MP, Damien Moore, as he visited our site in his constituency, Churchtown Health Centre.

Last month, expanded to Churchtown Health Centre in , offering flexible healthcare rooms to small businesses, community groups and healthcare providers 🏥

Damien Moore MP, Member of Parliament for Southport said: “It was fantastic to open the NHS Open Space rooms at Churchtown Health Centre. These new facilities will provide increased access to health and wellbeing services in my constituency and I am hopeful that the local community can benefit from this high quality space.” 💬

NHS Open Space is expanding its flexible offering across the UK 🌱

This week welcomed 40 new sites to the booking platform, expanding its portfolio to over 1,100 spaces across 190 sites nationwide 🗺️

The latest expansion will bring more choice to health and wellbeing providers, offering clinical and non-clinical spaces for hire on an hourly or daily basis, with greater flexibility at an affordable price 💻

With this expansion we hope to further grow our community of over 2,900 unique users, using our flexible booking system to make better use of NHS spaces and offer communities a wider range of services from their local NHS hubs 💙

We'd like to give a big shout out all colleagues who recently volunteered for the day at Coventry Foodbank! 👏

Coventry foodbank is a project founded by local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in the local area 💙

The NHS Open Space team not only spent the day sorting and categorising different food items and pulling together Christmas food boxes for families and individuals – but they donated a large shopping delivery too.

Well done to all involved – especially to the Coventry Foodbank for having us and for doing such amazing and important work for the Community ✨

We were delighted to welcome Peterborough MP, Paul Bristow, as he visited our site in his constituency, Werrington Health Centre.

expanded to Werrington Health Centre in August, offering flexible access to NHS space, ranging from examination rooms to group rooms.

Paul Bristow MP, Member of Parliament for Peterborough said: “It was fantastic to see the new NHS Open Space offering at Werrington Health Centre, and I would encourage community groups in Peterborough to consider using these rooms if they are looking for space to use.”

As the flexible space industry continues to grow, so does ! 🌿

Today NHS Open Space has expanded its property portfolio, meaning we now offer 950 spaces across 150 sites in England, spanning all seven of its regions 🏥🗺
