Until recently, Peru was often dismissed as a producer of bulk, organic lots for blending. Overshadowed by its better-known neighbour Colombia, Peru has all the prerequisites for excellent coffee, and has quietly been smashing our preconceptions of what's possible from this country.
Simon and Merlith from Chacra will be joining us to taste through this season's coffees and talk about some of the challenges and idiosyncrasies that make Peru such a fascinating origin to work in.
