When I was challenged by Ch4, on Joe Swash’s meal deal show, to quit meal deals for 5 days and make my own lunches it was a time of reflection... how my self-care and love had slipped, how we have to take care of ourselves before others, how my Nan’s would shudder if they were alive to see us snatching expensive soggy sandwiches on the run, how we’re not engaging our senses when eating, how we don’t know what’s in our foods any more...

What do you think? Do you always prep your foods?

For relaxation and cat lovers. Two strays kept my sane in a storm when my hike was abandoned and the one store in the mountains was closed so I had zero sustenance until a neighbour dropped in some rations which I shared with my fur friends 😻
