Shroom Boost, crafted with reishi, lion’s mane, and chaga functions much like a mushroom multivitamin because it delivers a broad spectrum of nutrients and bioactive compounds that support multiple systems in the body — from immunity to brain health and overall vitality.

Here’s how:
* Reishi acts as a powerful adaptogen, helping the body manage stress while supporting immune balance, cardiovascular health, and overall resilience.
* Lion’s Mane is renowned for its neuroprotective properties, promoting nerve growth and cognitive function, improving focus, memory, and mental clarity.
* Chaga is rich in antioxidants, betulinic acid, and minerals that help reduce inflammation, combat oxidative stress, and strengthen immune defenses.

Together, these medicinal mushrooms provide a comprehensive range of nutrients — polysaccharides, triterpenes, beta-glucans, and antioxidants — that nourish the body much like a multivitamin, but in a natural, bioavailable, and synergistic form that supports long-term wellness and vitality.

In essence, humans have been involved for thousands of years in a vast "clinical trial" with these healing wonders of nature. The wisdom that resulted from this global experiment is a large part of our history of healing and healthcare. Hawthorn, a plant with a long history of medicinal use, is a wonderful ally for anxiety and mental health. Traditionally, it has been used since ancient times, with roots in European folk medicine, to support heart health and emotional well-being. The ancient Greeks and Romans praised its calming effects, and it has been a staple in herbal medicine for centuries.

When it comes to anxiety, hawthorn is a gentle but powerful nervine. It helps to soothe the nervous system, reducing symptoms of anxiety and promoting a sense of calm. Its natural compounds, such as flavonoids and proanthocyanidins, enhance blood flow and oxygen to the brain, which can help improve mood and cognitive function.

Hawthorn also supports overall mental health by helping to stabilize mood swings and reduce stress. Its calming properties make it an excellent choice for those who experience tension and restlessness. Plus, it’s known to support heart health, which is closely linked to emotional well-being—after all, a happy heart often means a happy mind!

Arbor Day is a secular day of observance in which individuals and groups are encouraged to plant trees.

The Spanish village of MondoƱedo held the first documented arbor plantation festival in the world organised by its mayor in 1594. The place remains as Alameda de los Remedios and it is still planted with lime and horse-chestnut trees. A humble granite marker and a bronze plate recall the event. Additionally, the small Spanish village of Villanueva de la Sierra held the first modern Arbor Day, an initiative launched in 1805 by the local priest with the enthusiastic support of the entire population.

While Napoleon was ravaging Europe with his ambition in this village in the Sierra de Gata lived a priest, don Juan Abern SamtrƩs, which, according to the chronicles, "convinced of the importance of trees for health, hygiene, decoration, nature, environment and customs, decides to plant trees and give a festive air. The festival began on Carnival Tuesday with the ringing of two bells of the church, and the Middle and the Big. After the Mass, and even coated with church ornaments, don Juan, accompanied by clergies, teachers and a large number of neighbours, planted the first tree, a poplar, in the place known as Valley of the Ejido. Tree plantations continued by Arroyada and Fuente de la Mora. Afterwards, there was a feast, and did not miss the dance. The party and plantations lasted three days. He drafted a manifesto in defence of the trees that was sent to surrounding towns to spread the love and respect for nature, and also he advised to make tree plantations in their localities.

The bioavailability of herbal medicinal compounds can vary depending on the form they're administered in. In some cases, herbal tinctures may offer increased bioavailability compared to other forms of herbal preparations.

1ļøāƒ£ Rapid Absorption: When taken orally, herbal tinctures are quickly absorbed into the bloodstream through the mucous membranes in the mouth, allowing for rapid onset of action. This can result in faster and more efficient absorption of medicinal compounds compared to forms that need to be digested first, such as tablets or capsules.

2ļøāƒ£ Concentration: Herbal tinctures are often highly concentrated preparations, meaning they contain a high concentration of medicinal compounds compared to other forms like teas or infusions. This higher concentration can enhance the bioavailability of these compounds, as smaller doses may be needed to achieve therapeutic effects.

However, it's essential to note that bioavailability can be influenced by various factors, including individual differences in metabolism, the specific compounds being administered, and the presence of other substances that may affect absorption. We prepare our tinctures to be alcohol-free so people can benefit from the wonderful magic of herbs even if they are living an alcohol free life (like me!) x
