In Mother, the act of creation becomes both intimate and cosmic. The work touches on themes of protection, fragility, and the cyclical nature of life, while maintaining a quiet ambiguity. There’s a sense of containment and release — of worlds held within worlds — where the boundaries between body, spirit, and landscape begin to dissolve.

The painting continues my exploration of identity and emotional inheritance, reflecting on the spaces where tenderness and solitude coexist.

“Cosmic cocoon” oil on wood
Two intertwined beings drift in a weightless space, carrying the moon and the sun upon their foreheads — symbols of duality, rhythm, and cosmic balance. Cosmic Cocoon reflects a state of inner transformation, where opposites coexist in harmony: light and shadow, masculine and feminine, awakening and rest.

The cocoon becomes a sanctuary — a place of stillness before rebirth. Wrapped in layers of translucent blue, the figures hover between worlds, embodying both vulnerability and expansion. It’s about surrendering to the cycles of becoming — of holding both night and day within the self.
