✨ The truth about cellulite & exercise - explained! 💭💪
You train, eat well, and take care of your body… but that dimpling on your thighs or bum doesn’t go away. What gives? 😕
Here’s the reality:
➡️ Exercise can’t remove cellulite. Cellulite isn’t fat that you can burn off locally, it’s a mix of fat, connective tissue, circulation, and lymphatic flow that exercise alone doesn’t change. 💡
➡️ Spot reduction doesn’t exist - squats won’t target cellulite areas.
➡️ Even lean, athletic bodies often still have cellulite - it’s structural and influenced by connective bands, genetics & hormones, not fitness level.
HOWEVER… 🌀
✔️ Exercise does help by improving circulation, lymphatic flow, muscle tone & metabolic health all of which support healthier tissue and may soften its appearance.
✔️ Cellulite can look more pronounced temporarily after a workout due to inflammation & fluid shifts but this usually settles.
✔️ The most effective approach pairs exercise with circulation support, drainage techniques & tissue-focused care rather than relying on workouts alone.
✨ Bottom line:
Cellulite isn’t a sign of poor effort - it’s just biology. Exercise is valuable, but it’s only part of the story.
