A summary of the risk of mouth lesions turning in to mouth cancer over a period of time, consistent with our observations in clinical practice at Guys hospital. So important not to ignore anything abnormal inside your mouth. The earlier these lesions are diagnosed and treated, the better the outcome.
Diagnosing dysplasia can present a window of opportunity to prevent mouth cancer before it happens.
