ChromaYoga

ChromaYoga ChromaYoga™ combines colour, sound and scent to create a unique immersive yoga experience. ChromaYoga™ is a pioneering new approach to practising yoga.

Combining colour therapy, sound frequencies and aromatherapy with purposefully designed sequences,

Each aspect of ChromaYoga has been used to develop an experience dedicated to the improvement of wellbeing. Our role as an organisation is very much grounded in developing ancient techniques for the modern age and using these ideas to further our understanding of how we can take control of our own emotional and physical wellbeing. However, we also embrace the culture in which we live in and believe that the key to fulfilment in modern life is balance. We seek to address that balance through our combination of immersive practises, making ChromaYoga a truly unique and rewarding experience. ChromaYoga is set to introduce a whole new spectrum of benefits to your individual yoga practise.

Neil Krug is a Kansas-born director and photographer based in Los Angeles who produces slightly colourful, slightly psychedelic work inspired chiefly by illustration, music, s*x, rainy streets and driving in the desert at night. Set in the mysterious, lunar-like landscape of the desert, "Phantom: Stage One" seeks to recreate one of the photographer’s vivid dreams in which a lone woman follows a ghost into a psychedelic environment; Phantom invites the viewer to follow the individual into the colourful, smoke-filled terrain.⚡️💙 📸

'The Weather Project' (2003) ☀️ by renowned Icelandic–Danish artist Olafur Eliasson was installed in the Turbine Hall of the Tate Modern. The site specific installation featured a semi-circular screen, a ceiling of mirrors and artificial mist to create illusion of the sun. The screen was backlit by approximately 200 mono-frequency lights which, reflected on the mirrored ceiling and viewed through the mist, created the illusion of a large, indoor sunset. 🌅 by 📸

Shown above is a vibrant scene of a woman drying incense sticks (a stage in making incense) taken by Vietnamese travel photographer Khan Phan 🌺. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Khan Phan is renowned for her incredible images of her homeland, primarily shot from above. The artist suggests that photography enables her to represent the vibrant life of her country and the daily work of its craftsmen. Although these ancestral professions are incredibly tough and low-income compared to other modern jobs, Vietnamese artisans tend to stick to the domain so that they can pass it on to future generations. 📸

‘Cornea Ti’ is an installation created by the Interior Architecture students from the School of Design Mainz in collaboration with Ensemble Modern Frankfurt. The construction was built for the Frankfurt-based light festival Luminale 2014. Consisting of three connected containers that formed a sort of interactive stage, visitors would step through the amorphous tunnels triggering the many integrated LEDs hidden within the walls of the structure with their movement. In addition to the movement, sound caused the light to change, illuminating letterforms that would transform and morph into anagrams, only visible from the audience's perspective.
