I love both. Spike lavender is great for sports therapy. Mix a few drops in extra virgin olive oil for massage, or add to bath salts for a good 20min soak.

Covid-19 Close Contact Therapy Services Update
(Massage, reflexology, and all in person / physical presence therapies).

For massage therapies outside of lockdown, to comply with NHS Test & Trace, from the 24th of September we have to collect/ record and retain client's details: Name, Contact, Date of Visit, Arrival Time and, where possible, Departure Time.

Alternatively, you can check in with the official NHS QR code (scan from poster), but I have to see confirmation that you have just done it 👍

Gentle reminder that Reiki, Health Coaching, and other integrative therapies that can help with stress, pain and rehabilitation can be done online. As we seem to be heading towards another lockdown, please open up to new and longer-lasting possibilities if needed.

There is still lack of clarity on PPE for massage therapies. So far government made Visor & Gloves mandatory / Mask & Apron optional. NHS staff who also practise touch therapies say the Mask is necessary for both client and therapist, as well as adapting procedure

A session will look like this: Online Assessment/Consultation & Aftercare advice (30min) + hands-on appointment kept short (30-45min).

Industry feedback regarding Gloves-on massage so far shows Client Experience not ideal...
