Craniosacral Therapy with Howard Evans in Notting Hill, West London, W11 Howard Evans - offering craniosacral therapy in London W11. Willing to visit patients in Notting Hil I have been practicing massage and bodywork since 1992.

My training includes Chinese acupuncture, psychotherapy, Thai massage and craniosacral therapy. In 1996 I completed a Masters degree in Therapeutic Bodywork. This gave me the opportunity to integrate these diverse models and become an innovator in the field of therapeutic bodywork. Examples of this innovation can be found in my book 'A Myofascial Approach the Thai Massage' and in the 3rd edition of 'Modern Neuromuscular Techniques' edited by Leon Chaitow (one of my teachers). I am available one or two weeks a month in London for craniosacral therapy, Thai massage and Esalen style massage and it is a good idea to book ahead. I work in West London between Holland Park and Notting hill and offer craniosacral therapy, Esalen style massage and Thai Yoga Massage. To make an appointment please go to my website and either email me or text me on my English mobile number.

Carl Rogers said: 'The emotionally maladjusted person, the "neurotic," is in difficulty first, because communication within himself has broken down, and second because, as a result of this, his communication with others has been damaged... The task of psychotherapy is to help the person achieve, through a special relationship with a therapist, good communication within himself.' When we let go of the osteopathic story, we discover that craniosacral therapy is all about listening, and the quality of listening we develop helps our client re establish communication with themselves. I'm teaching a 30 hour course on craniosacral listening 3, 4, 5, 6 October, in Fulham, West London. There are still places available if you'd like to join this deeply resourcing journey

Conclusions

This meta-analysis suggests significant and robust effects of CST on pain and function, which are not exclusively explainable by placebo responses or effects due to non-specific treatment mechanisms. More RCTs strictly following CONSORT are needed to further corroborate the efficacy, comparative effectiveness, and safety of CST in patients with chronic pain conditions.

To systematically assess the evidence of Craniosacral Therapy (CST) for the treatment of chronic pain.PubMed, Central, Scopus, PsycInfo and Cinahl were searched up to August 2018. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) assessing the effects of CST in chronic ...

Healers, therapists, friends, and lovers!

When you sit with a friend in pain,
when their world no longer makes sense;
when confusion rages
and no rest is to be found.

Just for a moment,
will you resist the temptation
to make things better,
to reassure them,
to provide answers,
even to heal them?

Will you offer your stillness, your listening,
your presence, and the warmth
of your immediacy?

Will you hold them in your heart
with the same tenderness
of a mother holding her little one?

Will you embrace them where they are,
without needing them to change or transform
according to your own needs and schedule?

Will you stay close,
holding your own impatience and discomfort near?

Will you look into their eyes
and see yourself?

Will you stay in the inferno of healing with them,
trusting in disintegration,
knowing that you are only witnessing
the falling away of an old dream?

Sometimes in doing nothing
everything is undone,

and love is revealed to be
the only true medicine.

In the words of the honorable Bon teacher, Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, “With the pain body or identity, we ‘take the white pill’ and turn toward stillness; with pain speech, we ‘take the red pill’ and turn toward silence; and with pain mind, we ‘take the blue pill’ and turn toward spaciousness. As we enter the experiences of stillness, silence, and spaciousness, our pain becomes the path to liberation. Each condition transforms into a path that leads to our final liberation: connection with the changeless essence.”

Spaciousness Among the many concepts that the Bon tradition holds sacred is the foundational principle of Stillness, Silence, and Spaciousness .
