On this Small Business Saturday, I just want to speak from the heart. SweatLounge is something I built from nothing: a self-funded, woman-owned space created during one of the darkest chapters of my life. I wanted to build a place where people could feel good again, where they could breathe, recover, and start to shine a little brighter in their own life.

A study from Binghamton University in New York found that participants who used an infrared sauna 3× per week for 16 weeks at around 110 °F (≈ 43 °C) achieved up to a 4% reduction in body fat, while a control group saw no change.

In a follow-up phase (5× per week for 8 weeks, 30 minutes each), participants again experienced an average 4% decrease in body fat showing that consistency matters when it comes to infrared therapy.
