Ramadan is a special time for many of the people we support and work alongside. 💚

We want to honour and respect this meaningful month, and the values it represents.
By being aware and considerate, we can help create a caring and inclusive environment where everyone feels seen, understood, and supported.

Here at Handling Care, caring means recognising the whole person - their needs, routines, and beliefs.

February is a time to focus on comfort and wellbeing at home. Each month, we share 5 simple tips to help you and your loved ones stay healthy, supported, and confident. Here are February’s.

1️⃣ Prioritise Heart Health - February is Heart Month. Encourage gentle movement, balanced meals, and regular check-ups to support long-term wellbeing.

2️⃣ Keep a Consistent Sleep Routine - Short days and winter fatigue can disrupt sleep. Aim for regular bedtimes and calming evening routines to support rest and energy.

3️⃣ Support Joint Comfort & Mobility - Cold weather can increase stiffness. Gentle stretches, warm clothing, and light movement throughout the day can help maintain comfort.

4️⃣ Refresh Indoor Activities - Try new hobbies or rotate favourite activities like puzzles, crafts, music, or reading to keep minds active during indoor days.

5️⃣ Show Care for Yourself and Others - February is a great reminder that care starts with kindness. Simple routines, rest, and asking for support can make a big difference.

At Handling Care, we provide personalised support to help you live comfortably and independently at home, whatever the season. 💙

Start the new year feeling motivated, safe, and comfortable! Each month, we share 5 simple tips to help you and your loved ones stay healthy, happy, and supported at home.

1️⃣ Set Small, Achievable Goals - January can feel overwhelming. Break resolutions or routines into small, manageable steps to maintain motivation and wellbeing.

2️⃣ Start the Year with Mental Clarity - Try journaling, goal-setting, or simple mindfulness exercises to reduce stress and promote a positive mindset for the year ahead.

3️⃣ Engage in Gentle Social Activities - Even short phone calls, online meetups, or indoor hobbies with loved ones help beat winter isolation and lift spirits.

4️⃣ Plan for Winter Appointments - Book any GP, dentist, or specialist visits early in the year to avoid last-minute stress and ensure continuity of care.

5️⃣ Create Comfort Corners at Home - Set up a cosy spot with blankets, books, or hobbies where you can relax, read, or enjoy a cup of tea safely indoors during the colder months.

At Handling Care, we provide personalised support to help you live comfortably and confidently at home. 🤝

As the year comes to a close, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been part of our journey.

To our dedicated carers, supportive families, trusted partners, and the people we have the privilege to care for, thank you for your trust, commitment, and compassion.

Providing high-quality home care goes beyond delivering a service. It is about upholding dignity, supporting independence, and making a meaningful difference every day in our clients’ lives. This year, being recognised through industry awards, including Prestige Awards' Home Healthcare Provider of the Year 2025/2026 and SME Awards' Best Home Care Provider 2025 (London), has been a great honour and a reflection of the exceptional professionalism, dedication, and excellent standards of care shown by everyone in our team. We are extremely grateful and proud of what has been achieved together.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year. We look forward to continuing to support you in 2026.
