“At five months post-surgery, the nose has typically progressed into a more advanced stage of healing, where it begins to sit in greater harmony with the overall facial anatomy. The majority of postoperative swelling has resolved, allowing the underlying structure and contour to be more clearly appreciated.

That said, rhinoplasty is a procedure defined by gradual refinement. Subtle changes—particularly in the nasal tip—can continue to evolve over the coming months as the tissues soften and settle further.

The philosophy behind rhinoplasty is to achieve a result that is proportionate, balanced and in keeping with the patient’s unique facial characteristics—refined, yet understated.

This lovely 43-year-old patient came to us seeking correction after a previous rhinoplasty performed abroad. She was unhappy with the outcome, feeling that her nose appeared asymmetrical, with a bulbous tip that had also dropped over time.

A carefully planned revision rhinoplasty focused on refining and reshaping the nasal tip, improving symmetry, and restoring balance to both the front and side profile. The approach also included mild reduction in projection to create a softer, more proportionate and natural-looking result.
