Along with the rest of the country, Energise is reviewing the coronavirus situation regularly and taking measures within our gym, based on advice issued by
Public Health England (PHE). Our member welfare is of the paramount priority to us. The Energise management team is to assure all our valid members and non-members that we have taken steps to reduce the risk of infection.
Our team will continue to maintain our cleaning and sanitation schedule across all our gym facilities and equipment, with particular focus on door handles and lockers. We have increased the frequency of checks to the hand wash facilities and will ensure that we have plenty of soap available, with checks taking place every 30 minutes. If you have any concerns or questions about our cleaning schedule, please make a member of staff aware and they will be happy to assist you.
If you believe you have symptoms of the virus (cough and fever) please self-isolate yourself as advised by the NHS and please refrain from entering Energise for the safety of yourself, our other members and our staff. If you think you might have coronavirus please self-isolate for 7 days, if symptoms have not gone away contact NHS 111. If you've been in close contact/living with someone who has, please self-isolate for 14 days and if symptoms have still shown, contact NHS 111.
Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy, or hospital. Visit 111.nhs.uk/covid-19 for all information on symptoms and actions you can take on Covid-19.
You can help reduce the spread of coronavirus infection by following the guidance:
• Wash your hands with soap and water often - do this for at least 20 seconds.
• Always wash your hands when you get home or into work.
• Use hand sanitiser gel if soap is not available.
• Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell.
• Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean.
• Stay hydrated, sipping on water every 15 minutes will wash down any germs where the acid of your stomach will kill it.
• Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve when you cough or sneeze.
• Put used tissue in the bin straight away and wash your hands afterwards.
CATCH IT, BIN IT, KILL IT.
Energise will continue to monitor the situation closely and will update you with any changes.
Thank you for your co-operation with this matter.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
