Launch Day with JULÄINE™️
✨Collagen. Science. Skin that remembers how to hold itself.

This week I joined the UK national launch of JULÄINE™️, a next-generation collagen stimulator that I’ve been quietly integrating into my practice for the past year.

It was an honour to share the stage with some of the leading minds in regenerative aesthetics, and even more of an honour to speak about something I believe so deeply in:
That the best results don’t come from adding more, but from restoring what time, weight loss, or stress may have slowly taken away

JULÄINE™️ doesn’t change your face.
It supports your skin, its texture, strength, and resilience — from within.

This is regenerative medicine.
And at Mediject, it’s where we begin.
For patients curious about subtle, skin-first treatments, especially after weight loss, Ozempic use, or early signs of ageing JULÄINE™️ may be your starting point.
This isn’t about instant change.

It’s about long-term support, and results that whisper, not shout.
Carefully placed.
Patient-led.
Quietly powerful.

💡 Think of collagen banking like saving for your skin’s future.

Collagen banking is about taking action early. By stimulating your skin to produce more collagen through regenerative treatments like biostimulatory injectables, threads, or skin boosters—you’re essentially making deposits into your collagen “savings account.” Over time, these deposits build resilience. Your skin becomes stronger, firmer, and better equipped to handle the changes that come with ageing.

Invest in your skin now so you’ll reap the rewards later. Collagen banking isn’t a trend—it’s a strategy for healthy, resilient, and radiant skin at every stage of life.

I often tell my patients to think of collagen like a savings account for your skin. The earlier you start banking, the greater the returns.

In aesthetics, we’ve moved away from simply filling and freezing. The real focus now is regeneration. Treatments are designed to stimulate your own fibroblasts, helping the skin rebuild collagen and create long-term strength rather than short-lived results.

Collagen banking is at the heart of this approach. It isn’t about erasing time—it’s about working with your body’s natural biology so your skin functions well for longer. Daily SPF, good nutrition, and stress management form the foundation, while regenerative injectables such as poly-L-lactic acid can support the skin in gradually laying down new collagen. The result is skin that feels stronger, firmer, and healthier from within, whether you’re preserving what you have or rebuilding what time has softened.

In August, so many of you told me you couldn’t make the webinar because of holidays ...and that you didn’t want to miss out again.
That’s why I’m hosting another live session:

Aesthetics: Dentistry’s Secret Weapon for Growth in 2026
🗓 Wednesday 10 September
🕗 8:00pm UK
🎙 Live with Dr. Sheila Li

In this session, I’ll share:

• Why dentists already have the perfect foundation for aesthetics
• The real reason many trained clinicians never implement
• Case studies of dentists who found confidence through mentorship

This isn’t about choosing between dentistry and aesthetics. It’s about discovering how they elevate each other and how you can take the next step with confidence.

Comment “SECRET WEAPON” and we’ll DM the link to register your seat.

High frequency wands may look intimidating with their gentle sparks and soft crackle, but Dr Sheila explains they’re surprisingly gentle — when used correctly. ✨

These tools can help oxygenate your skin, reduce acne-causing bacteria, and even support collagen over time. But not all devices are created equal. Dr Sheila recommends checking for CE certification, knowing the difference between violet (argon gas) for acne and orange-red (neon gas) for collagen stimulation, and avoiding overuse to prevent irritation.

Want to learn more about how high frequency wands work, who they’re best for, and how to choose the right one? Read Dr Sheila’s expert advice in Harper’s Bazaar:

I’m very particular about this. It’s the lightest touch that brings the greatest sense of balance. Never layered. Never obvious. Never patchy.

In this case, we focused on creating harmony between the nose, chin and cheeks — working gently with subtle skeletal imbalances that can influence the overall balance of the profile. Often, it only takes small, purposeful amounts of filler, placed with intention, to restore natural proportion and flow to the face.

But here’s what matters most to me: everything must blend. I’ve seen many treatments where volume is added, but not harmonised — and the result lacks aesthetic continuity.

That’s not my approach. I assess the entire face — how light travels across it, the relationship between facial planes, and how we can enhance your features in a way that feels undetectable.

We all understand how important SPF is in protecting our skin, but Dr Sheila reminds us that it’s not a perfect shield against damage.

SPF is designed to delay the effects of sun exposure—not to make you completely immune. That’s why applying a generous amount and reapplying regularly throughout the day is absolutely essential for effective protection. Skipping these steps can leave your skin vulnerable without you even realising it.

If you want to learn more about how to apply SPF correctly and protect your skin the right way, head over to the full article for Dr Sheila’s expert advice and tips.
