Happy sunny Friday! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

This afternoonโ€™s Schools Team meeting had a focus on EHCP provision and resources in secondary schools, alongside a set of CPD lightning talks from team members (showcasing the independent learning completed over the Easter holidays).

We also shared feedback from our target-setting audit and explored key data that will be included in end-of-year outcome reports for schools. Lots of practical, hands-on discussion and small group work throughout.

A simple activity that works on fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination. Players follow a pattern while bouncing the ball - sounds easy until you try to keep up!

You can play it two ways:
โ€ข Work together to get the pattern right
โ€ข Or compete and see who can keep the sequence going the longest

Itโ€™s one of those games that looks straightforward but really challenges focus, timing, and control. ๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿผ

West London Speech and Language Therapy is a forward-thinking, neurodiversity-affirming practice of 25 passionate therapists, and weโ€™re looking for a Band 6 OT to join our growing OT service.

Following the successful launch of our OT provision, this is an exciting opportunity to work alongside our existing OT and play a key role in expanding and shaping the service across mainstream schools in West London.

This role offers the opportunity to develop your clinical skills, work in a variety of school settings, and contribute to a supportive, collaborative team environment. The post is full time and permanent.

Salary: ยฃ43,500-ยฃ49,000

The team is commissioned to provide services into mainstream primary schools across a number of boroughs in West London, as well as to support individual families at home and in our clinic in Shepherdโ€™s Bush. West London Speech and Language Therapy is dedicated to providing high quality services to all children, families and schools we work with. We offer assessment and therapy for children with speech delay/disorder, language delay/disorder, dyspraxia, stammering, global developmental delay, Autism Spectrum Disorders and other social communication difficulties.
