🌧️Mid-January often marks a quiet return to reality.

🚦The pace picks up again, routines settle, and for many people this is when worries or emotional tiredness become more noticeable.

🌱You do not have to be at breaking point to start therapy.

Many people I work with are managing on the outside, but feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally drained underneath. You might notice familiar patterns repeating, relationships feeling harder, or a sense that something is not quite right, even if you cannot fully explain it.

🪑 Therapy can be a place to pause, talk things through, and begin to understand yourself with more clarity and compassion.

🗣️ At the moment, my face to face sessions are almost full. ➡️ I do have some availability online and am offering a reduced rate for online work.

🕊️If you are considering therapy, you are very welcome to get in touch.

☎️ I offer a free initial 10 minutes conversation so you can see whether working together feels right for you.

💚 Wishing you good mental health in the meantime💚

AS THE DAYS SLOWLY BEGIN TO GET LIGHTER , MANY PEOPLE NOTICE JUST HOW HEAVY THINGS HAVE BEEN..,🌅

🕊️In therapy, change rarely arrives as a sudden insight. More often, it shows up quietly. Feeling less alone with it. A little more space to breathe. Small shifts over time.
🌱Therapeutic work is about creating enough safety for that to happen.
❄️If this season feels hard, you do not have to carry it alone. 🗣️Talk to a friend, a colleague or a professional 🤍

WHEN LOVE CHANGES SHAPE; WHAT HAPPENS AFTER GOODBYE

🕊️When something ends, the ground can feel uncertain. Even the quiet moment can stir anxiety as if your body is still waiting for what it used to know.

💨Relationships don’t just disappear; they echo:- in the mind,in the nervous system, in the habits that once kept you safe.

🤍It’s not about forgetting, or moving on too quickly. It’s about allowing space for what’s still raw, and trusting that steady ground will return, slowly.

🕊️Some days the ache speaks loudly. other days, you find small pieces of peace.

Both are part of learning how to stay connected to you and to life after an ending.

🤝You don’t have to carry it alone. Friends, family, a trusted person or a professional can provide a space to untangle what feels heavy.

The Quiet Edge of Summer:

The last summer bank holiday often lands in that subtle in-between space ; where long days of summer and for some a feeling of freedom begin to meet the rhythm of autumn. It can bring joy and relaxation; for others, a quiet sense of unease. Often, it can be both.

The above can be described as liminal moments : times where change is felt, reflection emerges, and awareness can deepen. Paying attention to how we feel in these quiet edges can help us navigate work, relationships, and personal life with more clarity and presence.

This long weekend, what’s surfacing for you in this in-between space?”

🪴Therapist and Human: Embracing Imperfection🪴

We’re all just human.
Even when we guide others home, we are still finding our own way back.

I support others to regulate, to slow down, tune in, and find safety in their emotional world.

And yet, there are times when I struggle to do the same for myself.

Because I’m not just a therapist. I’m also a person ; with my own roles, patterns, and triggers.

I know what helps.
But knowing and doing don’t always arrive together.Especially when I’m tired, lonely, or caught off guard.

🪑Therapist me holds space with care.
👩‍🦰Human me is still learning how to hold myself, too.

It’s okay to be both guide and learner in this work and in life.

RELATIONSHIPS: love, friends, work …
Next time you feel that spark , or that strong reaction —> ask yourself: Is this person really lighting something new… or waking something old?
That instant connection (or discomfort) we feel with someone ; a friend, partner, or colleague — isn’t always about them.
Sometimes it’s about what they stir in us:
🔁 A familiar dynamic
🕰️ A past relationship
⚡ An emotional pattern we haven’t yet named
May be they remind you of someone you once longed to please. Or someone who made you feel seen — or small.

This shows up in love, friendship...and at work. It doesn’t mean the connection isn’t real.
But it does mean it’s worth pausing to reflect. and be curious. Because real connection isn’t always instant - and strong reactions aren’t always about the present moment.
