Yesterday we celebrated in style at Dabbers Bingo for our annual Christmas party - and what a day it was! It was fantastic to bring the whole team together from across the UK to mark another successful year.

Special shoutout to Ediva Bessa Simons and Ama Darkwa for kicking off the Snow Ball with an epic dance battle, and to Nijmeh Zeto, who somehow managed to win bingo not once, not twice, but three times in a row. Talk about beginner’s luck! 🍀

Today we were delighted to host an exclusive, in-person training day for Empty Homes Officers and professionals working with vacant properties across Birmingham and the wider region.

Led by Adam Cliff, Secretary and Policy Lead at the Empty Homes Network, the session delivered practical, frontline insights into understanding and managing long-term empty homes. From exploring definitions and classifications to developing stronger cases for resources, attendees gained valuable, actionable strategies they can take back to their local authorities.
