Osteopathy is the diagnosis and treatment of the body in its entirety. Noted to be an integral part of rehabilitative care; osteopaths are trained as primary healthcare practitioners and are often a first point of call for patients in pain. At Amberin Fur and Associates our approach to osteopathy doesn’t just focus on the mechanics of the body; but incorporate the emotional wellbeing of the client into the treatment. We bring together a variety of approaches with the aim to support our patients and work cohesively through to optimal health. Our team values high standards of professionalism, both from each other and those we refer to. During treatment, there is often a complex degree of questioning, and examination to fully understand the problem and find a diagnosis. If we believe the patient should be referred to a specialist to run out specific tests we will refer to a hand selected group of trusted partners to facilitate the process and avoid any unnecessary stress.Each partner has been selected on their skills and commitment to healthcare and their patients. They have been earmarked as exceptional in their fields and we are privileged to work alongside them.

OXYGEN- The supplement of champions! 🏆 🎾

Novak Djokovic is one of the most accomplished players in tennis history.

Yesterday, the world witness him winning his 7th Wimbledon title, closing the gap on grand slam titles! Novak Djokovic has listed commitment, discipline and devotion as some of the key factors to achieving success, not forgetting Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.

It has been noted that in addition to his tennis equipment, Djokovic also brings a personalised hyperbaric therapy chamber with him to tournaments. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a non-invasive and painless treatment, where the individual breathes almost 100% oxygen while under increased atmospheric pressure. HBOT has been known to assist in the recovery process of many types of injuries, including joint pain, torn muscles and tendons, and even concussions.

We treat babies to release some of the restrictions caused by the position inside the womb during the birth process, irrespective of whether the birth was natural or assisted. Through extensive training, Laura is able to assess if there are any further conditions that need to be investigated and refer onto other specialists if necessary.

Laura is trained in supporting the mother and baby with the different challenges they experience around feeding. This can apply to breastfeeding, formula feeding or mixed.
