One of the best ways to look after your emotional wellbeing is by spending time with others, making new friendships and having someone you can talk to when things get rough.
In the Wimbledon and Kingston area, we have loads of opportunities to do this, so we've collected a few you may want to visit!
• Love to Sing: A lovely singing group we host at the Quaker centre on Fridays (10:30AM - 12:00PM).
• Wimbledon Guild - Friendly clubs, talks, and classes specifically to help people meet others
• Monday Get-together and CAMEO talks - The Furzedown Project, every Monday afternoon from 2:00pm to 3:30pm.
• MeetUpMondays - The Alexandra Pub Wimbledon, from 11am.
• Mental Health Support Group: Hosted by the Sacred Heart Church, every Thursday (3:00PM - 5:00PM).
• Memory Lane Club: Hosted by the Sacred Heart Church, Wednesday morning (10.30AM - 12.30PM)
• Bereavement Walk and Talks: Hosted by the Princess Alice Hospice at Bushy Park throughout the month.
• Knit & Natter: Held at multiple libraries within the Kingston Borough, where enthusiasts can bring along their projects and make friends!
Our Care Professionals love to accompany their clients to events like this, or are always there to be a listening ear when needed.
