Following the call for help in meeting the challenges for the public sector that coronavirus has brought, tens of thousands of suppliers have contacted us. This has been a truly amazing response and we want to thank all of you who have offered help during this unprecedented time.
We have been working hard to contact suppliers that have made an offer to ensure we have sufficient information to begin to match it to demand. If we are able to match your offer to a requirement, either we or one of the organisations we are working with will reach out to you as and when that need arises. You may already have had that call and thank you for being so responsive. However, owing to the sheer volume of offers, some suppliers will not yet have been contacted and many will not have had their offer taken forward.
We are focussed on taking forward those offers which will have the greatest and most immediate impact for public sector organisations at the forefront of the response to the crisis; ensuring we identify the right suppliers and ensuring they are engaged on the right terms.
As a result, Crown Commercial Service has now been able to publish a catalogue of offers of non-medical goods and services that can be taken up by anyone across the UK public sector.
