AdagioVR asks people. Burnout
Even though we are familiar with the concept of burnout, it may manifest in different ways and each person can interpret it individually. Depending on the unique circumstances, personality and environment of a person. AdagioVR will be highlighting different users to explore this experience, through different points of view about Burnout.

This week, we are talking to , Client Service Director at Digital Agency PlanNet UA. Alex has been managing projects of varying complexity for five years. To launch projects on time and keep clients happy with the results, expertise and significant resources are necessary. She is sure that burnout may occur after a prolonged stressful period, after being overloaded with tasks and duties for a long time.

How would you describe burnout?

Men’s Health Month Announcement

It is widely known, both through experience and research that Men cope with stress and handle and process emotions in a unique manner. More likely to suppress feelings, withdraw, grit their teeth or managing with unhealthy coping mechanisms - Men, do not always have the ability to address their emotions directly or systematically. Women, unlike men, have developed a better lexicon and language for expressing emotions due to historical and social factors; making it sometimes easier to acknowledge, and discus stressors as a first step toward processing and conquering these difficulties. Men on the other hand, may find it difficult to ask for help.

If left unmanaged, It's impossible to overestimate the harmful effects of stress on men's health… Psychologically, a person may experience uncontrollable emotional reactions such as extreme anger, lack of focus, anxiety, bad mood, or depression. It can also manifest as sleep issues, eating disturbances, or alcohol or drug abuse. Physical symptoms include headaches, chronic stomach issues, heartburn, muscle tension, fatigue, palpitations, rapid heart rate or weekend immunity. The list of side effects can go on and on.

That's why it’s vital to focus on this subject. As June is Men's Health Month, we are particularly glad to encourage men to take care of their health by bringing AdagioVR - a new technology that can assist men in processing stress and reducing its impact on their lives and wellbeing. The symptoms of PTSD differ widely from person to person. They may appear within a month of the event, in some cases, or there may be a delayed effect sometimes. The signs may seem insignificant or invisible at first, yet they might follow people for the rest of their life in some form. PTSD symptoms can, of course, fade or diminish for some people over time. The best way to avoid testing your cope mechanisms and prevent PTS from becoming a disorder is to seek proper support immediately following a traumatic event. So, understand the symptoms and listen to yourself.

Today, we would like to share our new and exciting re-brand! We present to you, our new Logo, and so much more!

People often ask, why did you go with “Adagio”VR - what does it even mean? Adagio is actually a musical term, describing a tempo that is slow & at ease - used in movement forms like ballet, to describe a complex multi-person dance performed with fluidity and grace.

We believe that everyone deserves to feel at ease. Through the AdagioVR program, we want our users to be free of emotional burden; to flow through life - and for organisations to run smoothly with each person playing their unique part to the best of their ability.
