It’s another Monday at Eden Court, but as always, no two Mondays need to be the same. What would you like to do this week, art in the activities room, coffee in the garden room, pre-lunch drinks in the bar or if the weather is kind, why not stretch your legs? It’s just a stone’s throw from Eden Court and always beautiful at any time of year.

Start the morning slowly in the garden room with a fresh coffee and the Sunday paper, sunlight coming through the windows and nowhere to rush off to. Late morning might call for a stroll or simply relaxing with neighbours and friends.
Then ease into pre-lunch drinks in the bar — something classic and refreshing, a chance for good conversation and a few laughs.
And of course, rounding it all off with Sunday lunch in the restaurant. Proper roast, great company, and no washing up afterwards — which might be the best luxury of all.

Our Faces of Friday starts with our Village Manager Yetty.

As the Village Manager at Eden Court, Yetty's oversees the retirement village and care home, creating a place where residents and families feel truly connected. Yetty is committed to the highest standards of care while fostering a positive, supportive workplace where team members feel valued and enjoy what they do.

With a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and Dementia Care Mapping from Bradford University, Yetty has over 30 years experience in the care sector, she began as a care assistant and progressed to managing multiple homes. Yetty values laughter, family life with her three daughters, and in her spare time enjoys writing, music, comedy, and the beauty of nature.
