Freezing your eggs is a carefully monitored medical process, from ovarian stimulation and egg collection to vitrification and long-term storage at −196°C.

While egg freezing cannot guarantee a future pregnancy, preserving eggs at a younger age may help maintain their quality and keep future reproductive options open. For many, it offers time, clarity, and peace of mind.

A Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) is a common part of modern IVF treatment.

It involves transferring an embryo that was frozen during a previous cycle and does not require egg collection or ovarian stimulation.

Many patients find a FET cycle less intensive than a fresh IVF cycle.

Swipe to learn what to expect and when a FET may be recommended.

You are not alone - these feelings are valid, and support begins from the very first conversation.

Ovarian reserve naturally declines with age - gradually at first, and more rapidly after the age of 35. By the age of 40, both egg number and egg quality are significantly reduced. While it isn’t possible to increase the number of eggs, younger, healthier eggs can be preserved for future fertility planning. Egg freezing offers an opportunity to safeguard your fertility and give yourself more time.

Every year brings new wishes. Some come true on their own, others need a little help.

Our world is about those second ones — the wishes that turn into heartbeats on a monitor, first smiles, and families that once existed only in dreams. 💙

In 2026, we wish everyone who is still waiting for their miracle the courage to believe that their wish will one day find its way. ✨

Happy New Year from all of us at CRGH.

Our Story, Our Values

The Centre for Reproductive & Genetic Health (CRGH) is the largest independent single-site clinic in the UK.

We operate with one embryology laboratory and one theatre at one location, giving us complete control over quality at every stage.

Our doctors and nurses are focused on providing clinical excellence and an outstanding patient experience.

We fund our own research programme, and publish our findings for all to share. We pioneered Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) treatment in the UK, and are one of only three centres providing this specialist service to the NHS
