Summer is on its wayyyyy!!! It’s getting hot outside and I’m craving some homemade ice tea! This one is my favorite blend, it’s super easy and refined sugar free!
- 1 bag of rooibos tea
- 75cl of boiled filtered water
- 4 medium strawberries
- 5-6 mint leaves
First, brew the teabag, between 5 and 20 mins depending on how strong you like it. Then, take out the bag and if the water has cooled down enough, add the strawberries and mint leaves. Wait it out for another 15 mins and more. If the water is still warm, add ice and stick everything in the fridge.
Voilà!!! Once the water has cooled all the way down, you can enjoy!

A couple of weeks ago I went to an Ayurvedic Medicine Exhibition here in London and felt strongly drawn towards this totally new subject to me. So, I went to the book shop and got myself the book you will see by swiping left. Inside this book is all the info necessary to introduce you to Ayurveda. This practice is actually ancient and complicated and so I know I won’t ever really master it, but I want to get enough of an understanding to adapt this practice to my lifestyle as much as possible. The other day I saw a post on from a business influencer and role model to me, where he explained how finding American football saved his sanity. He was a professional swimmer who eventually had to choose between school and swimming. He went for what he calls « the safe choice - school » and lost his way after that. He didn’t know what would become of him now that he wasn’t swimming. Until he found his new passion and let go of his past. That’s when things started looking up again. He now has millions of followers on LinkedIn and gets to be a great business coach and influencer. That’s exactly how I feel about yoga. Life has been very intense since I set up my business almost two years ago. The waters have been very agitated and it’s far from quieting down: many things have been going down in the last months which I will hopefully be strong enough to share with you all soon enough. And I’m not sure I could have made it this long with all the accumulated stress without yoga. No matter how long it’ll last for and how much stress it’ll induce, as long as I still make time daily for my practice, I feel like I can get through anything. Now your turn to tell me your story! My practice was a complete mess today. No balance whatsoever, no flexibility, what one would call a waste of an hour. Except that for the first time since I started yoga, I actually didn’t mind. I felt showered with respect and love for my body. My ego went into sleep mode! My practice was wobbly and uncomfortable and I loved it. I was at one with mind, body and spirit. I set an intention to enjoy every second of my practice at the beginning of the class and it worked! Do you guys set intentions at the beginning of your class? I absolutely loved the experience of letting my body do its things and just being in awe of all the movement. Feeling so grateful for this messed up practice 🙏🏼😍
