I trained and obtained my degree from Life University, and I am a DC - Doctor of Chiropractic. I have been practicing chiropractic for nearly 25 years. It's the greatest thing to be able to help people be healthy and feel great. My special interest is in helping children with ADHD, Autsim, Dyslexia, or other neurodevelopmental challenges. My mission is to help babies, children, pregnant women, and families together to live healthy happy lives through the chiropractic and brain-balanced lifestyle.

Desire, Joy, & Pleasure

Having a strong old-fashioned father and very intelligent older brother somehow formed my thinking that doing things the way a guy does things is more effective, more successful.

As a student in chiropractic school from 1993-1997, the male to female ratio was about 4 to 1. Being in this largely masculine environment seemed to form the way I thought I had to ‘operate’ and behave.

Oh, how misdirected I was.

When I was 28 years old, single, living in New York City, I was lit up by Regena Thomashauer, AKA , who shared with me and taught me something totally different, refreshing, and full of radiance, joy, pleasure and desire.

A life led by pleasure is a life full of success, love, and abundance.

This is what I’ll be talking about at the Women in Chiropractic conference on January 31st.

Come join me with other fabulous and amazing women who celebrate chiropractic and being a woman in this profession as we love to inspire sharing our gifts to help make a positive difference, gorgeous change in this world.

Do you know what moms say to me most?

I wish I had known about chiropractic sooner.

I have a dream.

It’s that one day, the norm is for everyone in the world to have their newborn baby checked and adjusted shortly after birth.

And the base standard of care is to have regular routine adjustments. For babies and kids, that’s 3-6 times per month. 1-2 times a week!

Kids grow FAST. Guess what their brain and bodies need?

Gentle chiropractic adjustments that take 5 minutes just to help their developing bodies to reset and upgrade.

And the more stressed out YOU are, the harder it will be for your kids to regulate. Because they entrain to your systems.

Get checked. Get adjusted!

Trampoline injury.

He landed on his head, and neck compressed, where he said he felt and heard lots of ‘cracks’.

Photos taken by his mother just after the injury, then 1 day after just before his adjustment. And finally, I took photos immediately after his adjustment.

His mother said to me, “How many children have an injury like this happen, and they don’t get assessed and adjusted right afterwards? Could you imagine my son growing with his spine all wonky from this fall?”

Imagine a young tree growing, and the trunk started growing wonky. How does that tree continue to grow?

Still wonky.

Most parents don’t know how beneficial chiropractic adjustments are for their kids.

Kids are active. Kids fall. Kids bump their heads. Kids get injured.

(Not to mention that kids also have to deal with ranges of their own kid-sized stresses.)

How often do kids have these falls and injuries, and then they just continue to grow and develop from their wonkiness?

All parents would want their child assessed and adjusted to ‘un-wonkify’ their bodies, their spines, and their heads.

Take a look at the photos. Look at his contracted spastic muscles after the injury.

Then notice his spine after his adjustment. He instantly felt more aligned, straighter, and more balanced. His spinal muscles visibly have more ease in the photos.

Regular chiropractic adjustments are essential for kids to be healthy.

And it’s also essential for kids to get adjusted after these physical stresses, falls, and injuries!

Chiropractic adjustments = Better brain function. Better performance. Better health. Happier kids.

All pregnant women want to do what’s best for themselves and their growing baby.
Chiropractic care for pregnant women is essential. Why?
Because regular chiropractic adjustments help the woman’s nervous system function better as she is able to release tension throughout her body, allowing for her spine and pelvis to have more ease, connection to the uterus, and better adaptability of her changing body.
During each of my 3 pregnancies, I myself had weekly chiropractic adjustments, and I had 3 natural, unmedicated births.
There are many factors that go into the outcome of labor and birth, and chiropractic care can have massive benefits for you, your baby, and your birth experience.
