Just had your session? Here is the 48-Hour Roadmap 🐎
The work doesn't stop when you leave the treatment room. As your body begins to integrate the changes we've made, the next 48 hours are crucial for your recovery. Here is what you need to know to get the best out of your session.
1. What You Might Feel
It is perfectly normal to experience a 'treatment reaction'.
• The Sensation: You may feel a bit stiff, achy, or even tired—similar to how you feel after a new workout.
• The Timeline: These sensations usually peak within 24 hours and should subside by the 48-hour mark as your body settles.
2. What To Do
• Keep Moving: Opt for gentle movement. A light 10-minute walk helps maintain the mobility we've gained without overtaxing your tissues.
• Hydrate: Drink plenty of water. Your tissues need hydration to heal and recover effectively.
• Listen to your body: If you feel the need to rest, take it. Recovery is a physical process that requires energy.
3. What To Avoid
• Heavy Lifting: Avoid the gym or strenuous chores for at least two days. Give your joints and muscles a chance to stabilise.
• Extreme Heat: While a warm bath is fine, avoid very hot packs or intense saunas immediately after treatment, as this can sometimes increase local inflammation.
A Note on Progress: Every body responds differently. While many feel immediate relief, for others, improvement is gradual. If your symptoms haven't started to settle after 48 hours, or if you have any concerns at all, please reach out to us directly. We are here to support your recovery every step of the way.
