In modern society, we all experience some degree of stress, and whilst good stress leaves us feeling motivated and elevates our mood, negative stress manifests in various ways from headaches and irritability, to tension in the body usually found in the neck, shoulders and lower back. As our body prepares to ‘fight or flight’, our immune systems can become compromised and this is when dis-ease sets in, which can lead to illness. At the Holistic Therapy Rooms, there are a range of treatments & Events to help support you. Treatments: Aromatherapy using oils blended to your specific needs, Ear Candling, Hot Stone Massage, Indian Head Massage, Holistic Massage, Deep Tissue Massage (incorporating Soft Tissue Release, Muscle Energy Technique, & some Craniosacral techniques) Pregnancy Massage, Reiki, Reflexology & Hot Stone Reflexology,
Events: Sound Healing, Sound Baths, Cacao Ceremonies, Reiki Drum & Aromatherapy. Where Aromatherapy oils are used, all essential oils are of a high quality & where possible organic or wild-crafted. Treatments from the South Woodford clinic are available on Mondays to Saturdays with advanced booking. Gift vouchers for all treatments are available for purchase.

Join The Holistic Therapy Rooms as we gather to honour this Supermoon, the second of a series of three SuperMoons in 2025.

This Full Moon is known as the Beaver Moon and Frost Moon. A time that marks the preparation for Winter and the first frosts. A time to connect with our emotions and look within for insight and reflection.

We begin with a meditation /visualisation and journey as Adalet guides you in a space for relaxation, connection and ahead of the Deep Rest that awaits before moving into the sound frequencies of the Gongs, Himalayan, Crystal and Alchemy Singing Bowls, Chimes, Vocals & Shamanic percussion.

In Sacred Space you will be fully supported in our sound journey which will regulate your parasympathetic nervous system to reduce stress, calm the mind, reduce blood pressure and improve sleep. This evening is a time to restore at a cellular level. A time to reflect and a time to look ahead.

I see many clients where muscular tension often stems from trapped emotions that are unexpressed or repressed. Held within like a container that needs the body to feel safe enough to gently start the process to release.

Releases aren’t always when the mind is ready, it’s when the body is feeling ready.

We will commence with a short intro followed by an active guided visualisation to clear away and remove any negative energy stored within the body.

I’m inviting you into sacred space which is a safe space to unwind and as we have entered the Year of the Snake our focus will be to release any old and outdated stories that we attach to, so you can move ahead feeling more supported, nurtured and grounded.

And so it has begun, The Planetary Parade.

Grab your Telescopes or Binoculars because from now until 9pm GMT this evening, expect to see Venus, Jupiter, Mars, Neptune, Uranus and Saturn parade in the night sky in what appears as a straight line.

For those without Telescopes or Bins, 4 of the Planets will be visible with the naked eye except for Uranus and Neptune.

On 25th January, Mercury will join the Parade.

So what does this mean for those of you who enjoy Astronomy, Astrology or those Cosmic Vibes?

Venus – calls for greater love, beauty, an open heart transmuting feelings of grief and sadness, Jupiter is our planet of luck, wisdom & expansion, Mars increases our feelings of motivation and action, Neptune – the spiritual planet asks us to focus on our healing and trusting our intuition, Uranus inspires our innovation and imagination. Saturn – calls us to organise and release old outdated patterns as the process driven planet of order.
