We are thrilled to hold the opening of this exhibition on 18th March 2026 - 30 years to the day of the first meeting with an Arts Network member!

We had a large group for our latest trip, finding inspiration within two places of wonder in West London.

Firstly, the monumental paintings by internationally acclaimed artist Harland Miller at the Design Museum. This contemporary artist's focus on typefaces make the museum a fitting location for a series based on the language of graphic design.

We then took a short walk to Japan House London for their Hyakkō exhibition. A collection of almost 2,000 exquisitely hand-crafted items by more than 120 artists, craftspeople and self-taught makers from across Japan. Impressive skill and beauty on display and a calm, centred atmosphere enjoyed by our group.

Artist in Focus: Alexandre Santacruz.
Our current member's exhibition in the Arts Network Studio is the work of Alexandre Santacruz. Collage creations with striking use of the human form.

In conversation with Alexandre in response to being asked how it feels seeing his artwork up in the Studio he said:

".. it makes me feel very proud, actually. It's always good to see the artwork somewhere on the walls for people to see. So I see it here between, all among those people that are all artists and can give you a note, can tell you what they feel. I think it's part of the creative process, is when people comment your artwork. So that makes you go further on your path."

OUR EXHIBITION IS OPEN!

Shared Ground: Collective Projects

Each piece is the result of shared imagination and collaboration, an expression of what can emerge when creativity becomes a collective act.
This exhibition includes a new film commission with King’s College London
Plus a textile work made in response to the recent exhibition ‘Gated Canyons’ by Rachel Jones .nesr

Arts Network is proud to unveil our logo refresh, co-produced with our members to ensure that this new design feels true to the charity’s vision, represents and celebrates the diversity of our membership, and is accessible and welcoming.

We partnered with Graphic Designer Lily Forbes to gather input from members, staff, and trustees through focus groups and creative activities with voting and feedback options. Thank you Lily and all involved!

A key motivation in our design refresh was to better reframe understanding of mental health for the public, and champion the fantastic diverse community of members that make up Arts Network.

Heartfelt thanks to our members and to all who have been part of this journey, particularly Graphic Designer Lily Forbes who works at UAL: University of the Arts London and supported us with volunteering her time skilfully and collaboratively guiding the process.

We will continue to evolve our visual communications in consultation with our members. Read more about our design journey in the link below, and we’d love to hear your thoughts. Exciting times ahead!
