Pop Down to Parkside SE10!

Join us on the second Tuesday of the month for free drop in creative workshops!

In our next session on Tuesday 14th April you’re invited to create your own shadow puppet, inspired by an animal, a mood, or a character from a book, film or song. We will cut silhouettes, collage and attach the different parts to make our characters, and try them out together!

Where: Parkside Community Centre, 1 Copperwood Place, London SE10 8GE

When: Second Tuesday of Every Month 3pm - 5pm

Who can join: Anyone over the age of 18 (all art experience welcome)

Stay Connected - The Deptford Issue is out!

We are thrilled to reveal the latest edition of our magazine that shines a light on our members, community connections, and our neighbourhood of Deptford.

We will be dropping off print copies to local venues and you can enjoy a read online via link in bio and on our website ⬆️

Alongside features on the creative programme of Arts Network, our local organisations and support groups, you can also enjoy activities including making your own sensory map and a fun photo challenge.

Our Community Showcase: 30 Years of Arts Network is now open!

A big thank you to everyone who joined for the preview last night. And to our team and volunteers for putting together such a special event to mark our 30th anniversary.

We had a large group for our latest trip, finding inspiration within two places of wonder in West London.

Firstly, the monumental paintings by internationally acclaimed artist Harland Miller at the Design Museum. This contemporary artist's focus on typefaces make the museum a fitting location for a series based on the language of graphic design.

We then took a short walk to Japan House London for their Hyakkō exhibition. A collection of almost 2,000 exquisitely hand-crafted items by more than 120 artists, craftspeople and self-taught makers from across Japan. Impressive skill and beauty on display and a calm, centred atmosphere enjoyed by our group.
