Regarding staying active in Ramadan... Just to remind everyone, Ramadan is not a month of hibernating and being idle. The battle of Badr, the battle of Tabouk, the conquest of Spain by Tarek bin Ziyad and many more events happened during the month of Ramadan. Hence, Ramadan has always been the most active month for the Muslims in the past, its a shame that many of us have made it into a month of sleep... Get out, get active, be productive.

Nutrition is key to both feeling and looking better. Eat natural, well sourced food and avoid that which is processed and chemical infused. Make sure you eat enough lean protein, good fats and high quantities of greens and vegetables and some fruit (be aware that fruit contains high levels of fructose, a simple sugar). Make sure to stay hydrated throughout the day. If you feel sluggish or low energy, it's probably down to poor nutrition or hydration levels so think next time you reach for that coffee.
