Volunteers are essential for Markfield 🤩

We offer a range of roles with flexible working hours, including:

◽ Weekly volunteering on our clubs or drop in sessions
◽ Practical volunteering such as helping us re-paint or gardening
◽ Office volunteering, helping with administration tasks

We are looking for volunteers to mentor young people aged 16-25 during their transition into adulthood

Would you like to join a Team of Volunteers to:
▪️ Support young people with activities relating to their transitions into adulthood
▪️ Help develop their confidence and independence
▪️ Provide support to help them achieve their goals

The meetings can take place either at the Markfield Project or out in the community to achieve goals or activities chosen by the young people with support from their caseworker

Volunteers will receive training and support from the Transition to Adulthood Lead

🐣🌷 As part of our ongoing celebrations, we hosted a fantastic Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday 11 April in the adventure playground! With beautiful weather on our side, children had a wonderful time exploring, hunting for eggs, and heading home with plenty of treats. 🍫☀️

Our Transition to Adulthood group played a special part in the day by preparing delicious rice crispy treats and creating beautiful friendship bracelets, which were available to purchase. We also had a fun crafts station where children could decorate their own bags — perfect for collecting Easter goodies! 🎨👜

Thank you to everyone who joined us for another joyful community event. We loved celebrating together and making such lovely memories! 💛
